"Rude bitch." I heard him muttering as he left the shop. It almost fuelled me up to lash out at him but I kept on saying Astagfirullah over and over again to calm my nerves and not let satan over power my soul.

After calming my nerves I took a look at the samples that the idiot has provided me for his order.

It was a pretty cute keychain to assemble, with two beads of yellow and blue colour , a soccer ball and two pallets to engrave a name and number. Looks simple alright but the engraved part is what's going to take more time to do. The guy had a good taste in selecting stuff for souvenirs, I have to admit not bad for a jerk like him.
I made a mental note to finish the keychains for Sally before I had to start with the jerks order and then went back into the store room to get the pack of hooks, rings, soccer ball charms and engraving stapler sets.
I separated all the items I needed into a neat setup which will be easy for me to work with on the work bench and went over to Musa's desk to get the list of details the jerk had given.

It was a long list alright. I knew it was going to take me the whole day to just only finish the engraving of names and numbers.

I pulled out the keychains I have been working on since last night for Sally and immediately assembling them into something elegant, I wanted Sally to fall in love with them. Also a token of appreciation should be pretty as the person who's going to be getting them. So sweetest being like Sal-sal deserves the best.

So as soon as I got the five keychains done, I got to work with the set of 30 for the jerk of course! As soon as that thought pops in my head my better part of brain realized the mistake I have been doing repeatedly and I repented that very moment...

So as soon as I got the five keychains done, I got to work with the set of 30 for the jerk of course! As soon as that thought pops in my head my better part of brain realized the mistake I have been doing repeatedly and I repented that very moment, "Ya Allah! Please forgive me I keep insulting your creation and forgive me for letting shaitan's whispers get the better of me." Astagfirullah! I have to keep my anger in control when it comes to that fellow.
I shouldn't have to be so bitter about how the guy treats me. My beloved Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon him) was treated far worse than me, yet he never made a rueful comment or thought ill of others instead he forgave them and prayed for them. I have to practice on being patient in such situations I thought and made a small Dua for the guy to have guidance towards good from going astray. Afterwards I continued with my order in a rather peacefully clearer mind.

Surprisingly by the end of the day I had managed to get the engravings and the football charm completely done to be hooked into the keyrings once the bead were sorted the orders would be done and ready for it to be picked up.
Once I was done for the day I realized Musa and Lisa didn't come back to work after lunch,so I called up Musa to see where he had disappeared with Lisa, it's been almost four hours since they were out. Call me an over-protective mom, but my friends mean the world to me.

The phone kept on directing me to the voicemail and I couldn't but start panicking on the thought of everything bad which might have happened to them.

So as on instinct I rang Aunty Ashra to ease my worry. As soon as she answered I started rambling,

"Assalamu alaikum Aunty, Musa didn't return after the break and I have been trying to call him and his phone keeps directing me to the voicemail and I can't stop worrying of all the what ifs which are popping up in my head. And it scares me so bad to think of anything as of now. Have you heard from Musa? I donno what am I supposed to do aunty.." I was almost in tears but the time I stopped to catch my breath.

"Walaikum salam dear. Slow down and first of all Musa is fine dear he's home sleeping after a bad food poisoning. He said that he and Lisa went out to have some junk for lunch and and both of them had food poisoning." She explained and continued, "I should have called you to let you know but I assumed that Musa must have informed you. I should have known that fellow was going to forget it."
"Alhamdulillah he's home. He had me so worried for a moment there. Aunty please do let him know that he doesn't have to show up tomorrow and I will manage the work shop. Make him get good rest. In sha Allah he'll be all right soon."
"I'll let him know sweetheart, I'm sorry we had you worried Mahra. Convey my salaams to your mom and do visit us soon as possible. We miss you here."
"Ha ha ha Aunty I was there just four days ago to spend the whole day!" I mused. "And yes I'll convey your salaams to mom".
"But still we miss you here alot better come here soon for meal, understood?" Aunty Ashra said in a silly yet final tone.
"Yes of course aunt I'll be there after Jummah for dinner. Okay aunty I got to go now. It's pretty late and I need to close up for the day before heading home."
"Okay sweetheart. Take care. Allah Hafiz, assalamu alaikum."
"Allah Hafiz and walaikum salam Aunty."I hung up as soon as we said our salams and did a final check in and around our store before closing up for the day.
'My bestie just had to give me a mini heart attack, I'll have a good long chat with him and Lisa when I do meet them again for scaring me like that'. I thought as I was walking down the street on my way home then suddenly I remembered I had to get a few note pads and a new set of paint brushes and glass paints for an order which I will be starting on Monday for Uncle Zihaan's daughter, Isra for her nursery graduation. They were supposed to be personalized gifts from Isra to the other kids at her nursery, a special token of remembrance. I love that little girl to bits and she's the cutest! So I will have to impress the most bubbly girl ever.
Thinking of that I smiled at that thought of seeing a sparkling light of happiness in her tiny little eyes when she sees the end product.

When I was about to cross the road, I heard a familiar voice, which I could recognized from any where, So I turned around to see if he was really there or was it me being paranoid. And turns out I wasn't being a crazy person who hears things and it was truly the 'oh-so well-mannered-gentleman' himself right behind me walking to the opposite building, which was a hostel for college guys. I was literally being a creepy stalker and I didn't miss out to notice his outfit in details for the first time since the last encounters I have had with him. He was wearing a slimfit grey t-shirt paired with some darker grey pants and brown laced shoes, he was wearing a silver necklace and a super cool shades also was carrying a backpack . He was definitely college hottie material for sure alright. He and few of his friends, I guessed, were talking so loudly and for once out of the three times me seeing him, he look nothing like a jerk, he seemed so carefree fun loving college kid. Then I thought maybe it was just my fault he was bitter towards me and I shouldn't have given him the attitude.
I shake my head feeling slightly disappointed in my behavior and headed to the mini supermarket to get the things I needed and go back home.
