Late Thursday night emergency services responded to a call of a reported car accident in downtown Seoul. The victim was kpop sensation Jeon Jungkook, 20. Jeon was reportedly headed to fellow singer Park Jimin and apparent boyfriend's apartment complex when a drunk driver ran a red light and t-boned the idol. Sources say the vehicle Jeon was driving skidded across the asphalt before hitting another vehicle, flipping. The car was found upside down and the singer still strapped to his seat by the seatbelt, unconscious. Sources say he was rushed to a private facility for treatment and has remained there since. Jeon's company took to Twitter to alert fans of his condition, stating "Jungkook was in a fatal car accident Thursday night and has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition. We will keep everyone posted. We are confident our Jungkook will remain strong and will pull through. He is not alone and has Park Jimin by his side 24/7." We hope the young man will remain strong and make it out okay.
