That's Rebecca Smith off to the side.

Ohio. Of all places that my parents best friends could have lived, they live in Ohio. The thought of my parents causes bile to rise in my throat. I suppress the memory afraid of what would come next if I didn't. Nothing good, I know that much. I concentrate on the grass and how the early December chill is creating dew while the sun rises from its slumber. The Smith's I think, what do I really know about them? Well I know they must be pretty rich considering the fact they had someone pick me up from the airport in a sparking white limo. What else, hmm... Well I know John and Rebecca appear to be nice people as I have met them a time or two. That's when I realize something. I don't actually know much about the Smith family, and that creates a tinge of panic in my stomach knowing I will be living with these people for quite a while. I brush off the thought and gaze out the window, and that's when I see it. An enormous manchine. Gated from all sides, these people must own Texas with how extravagant the property is from the outside. What would the inside look like then? The driver punches in a code and the gates swiftly open as we drive through. We glide up the long twisted drive way and pull around to giant double doors that must be none other than the front doors. When I communicated with Mr. and Mrs. Smith through text, call, and email they said something about having a son or two. How old are they? How many are there? A maid opens my door and I very ungracefully if I do say so myself step out of the limo. A second maid guides me up the steps and opens the front door for me. I step in and all I see for ages is expensive, irreplaceable, and well, magnificent items. Mr. and Mrs. Smith approach me with open arms and I gladly hug both of them and then step away.

"Bethany dear I haven't seen you in centuries! I have missed you dearly. How are you!" Mrs. Smith beams with excitement.

"I missed you too Mrs. Smith and I'm ok given the circumstances. Must I say, your house is extraordinary."

"Nonsense call us John and Rebecca from now on. Your family now" John exclaims

"Ok..John." I say testing out the new name. It rolls off my tong freely so I guess it's ok "Is it alright if you guys call me Beth from now on?"

"Of Course dear, whatever you want. But if I may ask why the sudden change of name?" Rebecca asks questionably.

Bile rises to my throat for the second time today "The last people to call me Bethany were my parents" I choke out the last part as Rebecca and John give me apologetic looks.

"I understand completely." Rebecca's soft as she speaks. She cheers back up in an instant as she says "Well what am I waiting for I bet you are waiting to meet our sons!" she goes to a wall that holds what looks like a PA system. "All Smith's are too immediately report to the main hallway, Beth is here" She says the last part almost seductively and I giggle. But I stop abruptly when I see them. 9 boys file out of a door to the left of me. "Beth these are my sons"
