CRASH

Tires screeching

Blood and glass flew in the air

I stood there

Frozen, motionless as I watched you lay there

Your eyes closed, blood pooling around your head

Screams filled the air as people rushed towards your body

"no"

The only word that I could breath out

Finally recovering my senses

I ran towards you

My heart hammering

My breathing raspy

When I got to where you were, a crowd had form a loose circle around you

People staring down at your face

Some were screaming into their phones, calling for help

You were laying on the ground, your head turning sideways

Your white lace dress was now stained red

As I stared, tears began to form

Until eventually they began streaming down my face

I crouched down, crawling towards you

My shaking hand timidly trace across your face

Lightly brushing it

Your warm skin was now cold

Your pacing pulse is now at a stand still

Whimpering, I reached down and cradled your head into my lap

Your blood smearing across my hands

And so I sat there weeping until everything faded to black.

I jolted awake, my heart thundering

Tears traveling down my face

I took in a shaky, ragged breath

Relived that all of that was just a dream

A morbid

Horrible

and dark dream

Pushing myself up

I began to reach for my phone

But froze

My face turning white

My breathing turned heavy as I stared at my hand

Smeared across it was blood

Dry blood

It wasn't a dream after all...
