Chapter 29

“are you ready?”, I nod my head slowly and close my eyes focusing on happy memories.

“Bucky can we go shopping?” I ask sitting next to him, Bucky shakes his head. “please” I blink looking at him, he looks away trying to avoid my gaze. I move to lay on him “you're squishing me” Bucky smiles a bit, “say yes and I'll move” I say but he just shrugs. I smirk kissing his cheek, Bucky turns a bit red and I carry on kissing his face.

He turns to look at me “stop”, I blink looking at him smiling. He shakes his head “don't look at me like that”, I carry on staring at him, inches away from his face. He rolls his eyes “fine”, I jump off him cheering and grab his hand “let's go”. I go to pull him but he doesn't budge, I go to complain but he pulls my arm making me crash into his chest.

“ow” I mumble but Bucky just puts his hands on my face and collides our lips together, I go to deepen the kiss but he pulls away smirking “that's for being annoying”. “I should be annoying more often” I smile making us both start laughing.

I open my eyes feeling all my emotions come back, tears roll down my cheek. I've hurt so many people.

My Father smiles at me and moves his hand making a portal form below me, I fall through it and land on concrete floor managing to stay on my feet. I lift my head realising I'm back in the room with everyone in.

“ah” someone jumps from my sudden appearance and catches the attention of the other people, Steve looks at me a minute before lowering his shield.

I spot Bucky in the crowd with his back to me, I look back at Steve and he nods his head knowing what I thinking. I instantly run through the crowd, Bucky turns to see what the noise is about, he notices me running at him and prepares for me to attack. I jump wrapping my arms around him, he stiffens surprised at my action but hugs me back.

I bury my face in his neck “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry” I mumble into his hair. “it's okay just please never leave me again” Bucky whispers back tightening his grip a bit.

“everyone give them space” I hear Steve shout and a bunch footsteps move away from us. “I will never leave you” I whisper back.

We pull out of the hug and Bucky looks down at me smiling at my appearance, I glance at the window to see my slight reflection. I still have black hair and orange eyes but I'm now wearing a big grey jumper with black joggers and white trainers. I look back at Bucky and realise he's still wearing the necklace I gave him, I put my hand around it “I never took it off” Bucky says looking away embarrassed.

I smile at him and go to comment on how cute he is but a voice interrupts, “this is cute but you're not going to be able to protect each other” I glare at the voice and look behind Bucky to see Hunter stood in the doorway, my eyes widen and Bucky notices my look and looks at the door as well.

Bucky looks back at me concerned, Hunter lifts a gun up pointing it at Bucky. I step between them both and quickly grab the gun off Bucky's belt, I aim it at Hunter.

“I'm going to kill you!” I shout but when I'm about to pull the trigger Bucky grabs me and moves my hand so the bullet hits the floor. “What are you doing I need to kill him” I snap wiggling in his grip, Bucky carries on holding me as Hunter smiles stepping forwards.

I scream hitting Bucky's arms to try and get him off me but he doesn't let go. “Angel stop” Bucky says softly, I stop hitting him and look back at Hunter who carries on stepping forwards.

I tighten my grip on the gun and hit Bucky with it, he stumbles a bit. I jump at him and point the gun at his head “go on he betrayed you” Hunter whispers behind me. I swing my hand back hitting Hunter in the face, he falls back and I throw my hand up sending him flying back into the wall.
