Gwen woke up in a cold sweat, tears streaked down her cheeks. She had another nightmare, she has been having them for weeks now. Ever since she had started dating Michael Espelrosa.
Her dream was about the shadows...............
She was in a clearing, Michael at her side. They were surrounded by trees, tall and mighty, but behind the trees was darkness, it crept closer, splitting and separating into shadows. She and Michael bombarded the shadows with blows, though they were out numbered 10 to 1.
Gwen had vaporized the last shadow, turning to Michael just in time to see him get stabbed by a shadow that had creeped out of the forest, and fall down, the color draining from his face. "Michael!" she screamed. She blasted the shadow to oblivion, a quick death even though it didn't deserve it.
She ran over and nelt by his side. He looked up at her, his beautiful coffee brown eyes unfocused. "Gwen I..." when his voice failed him he tried again."I l-lov-ve y-you-u" he whispered voice shaking with every breath.
"Don't leave me" she sobbed "Please..."
"G-Gwen..." and just like that the light faded from his eyes leaving them staring blankly at the moon.
Suddenly there was a shimmering blue light piercing though the darkness of the clearing filling it with light.
That is when she allways awoke.
