He left. He left like all the others. Usually, when they were gone, she'd cry. But now, she really don't care anymore.

That boy, Percy Jackson, said he would get her out of here. He lied. Like everyone else did. They all said they would free her from her prison. She knew they lied. But Percy... She had a bit more hope when he promised. He wasn't like the others when they meant. He actually cared about her.

But when he left, he never came back. And never got her out like he promised. She was wrong. He really was like the others.

But honestly, she couldn't blame him. It wasn't all his fault. It was those stupid gods. It was all there fault.

She knew to herself that Percy wasn't like the others. He just couldn't be. The last time a god had visited her, he had said that Percy had won the war against Kronos. The gods had to reward him right? He had asked them to free her, but they just forgot about her. At least that's what she thought. That could be the only logical answer.

Also, when the gods visited her, they said that she nice. They said she didn't belong there. She didn't deserve it. If they thought this, why didn't they free her when they had the chance? That was beyond unfair.

The last straw was when they brought that scrawny son of Hephaestus. I mean, he looked way no better that her other visitors, so how could she possibly fall in love with him? She promised herself she wouldn't fall for him. She would stay as far away as possible from him.

But of course, just like the others, she fell for him. And just like the others, he promised he'd be back for her. She knew that could never happen. After what happened with Percy, she didn't believe in them anymore. She had no more hope.

But for some reason, she maybe has just a tiny bit of hope. More than she ever did in a long time.

Maybe this boy will finally set her free.

And you know what, he actually did.
