The Never-Ending Text Messages

"Finally it's done!" I say to myself exhausted by the amount of homework I just finished.

I close my laptop and head into the shower.

I felt the warm water against my skin as it washes away today.

I love showers because of that. How when you feel like the water is washing away the pain and sadness off your skin.

I step out of the shower and I go back into my bedroom.

I go to my closet and I slip into my love pink (yes love pink is my favourite brand) pink coloured pj shorts and a oversized white t-shirt.

As I was fixing my wet hair I heard my phone go off.

"1 message from Nick" the screen showed.

I opened the message and Nick said

"So you made me wait until 9:30 at night waiting for you to text me(;?"

I laughed to myself and wrote back.

"Sorry(; I was busy all day, you know instead of waiting all day for me to text you..you could man up and text me first.(;" I respond cheeky.

Nick responded right away..which I kinda like that. Liam never responded right away..it would always take him 10 minutes like he had something better to do.

*bling* I smiled and opened the text.

"Wow that hurt my feelings(;"

I text back.

"Poor baby(;"

*bling*

"It's cute when you try to act tough(;" Nick wrote.

Wait a minute! Did Nick just call me "cute?!" Are we flirting?!

I thought this to myself and I got a instant smile on my face.

I yawned and looked at the clock.

10:33. Have me and Nick been talking for a whole hour? Wow. I guess I should go to bed.

"Anyways, I'm gonna head off to bed, night nick(:"

"NO your not leaving me, I can't go to bed till 2:30!"

"Sorry I have to sleep(;" Night!"

"I will spam you Alex."

I ignored his little threat and turned off the light and let my head sink into my pillow. It felt so good to be in my bed relaxed and sleepy.

Everything was all quiet and nice until my phone went off about 1000 times a second.

Nick wasn't kidding and he wasn't stopping! After what felt like forever I got up and grabbed my phone.

I texted him back saying,

"Omg shut up."

"Nope(; you are way to entertaining to go to sleep. I like talking to you.."

Did he just try to guilt trip me. I smile to myself as I type

"Fine, I will stay up with you."
