As conceited as it sounds, here I am acting like I'm the queen of the world, chin up while I slowly make my way passing by all the workers bowing to me.

Out of respect, I of coarse smiled to them to get my first impression be good. Not being such a bitch.

I arrived at the elevator as I pressed the button to my father's office. I admit that I'm nervous since I'm late at my first day but I'm sure dad wouldn't mind right?

I knocked on the door and heard a voice saying, 'come in'

I opened the door and made sure to look down as I walked in. As soon as I stepped my foot unto that room all I feel is the daggers of glare sent by my father.

"You're late."

"But fathe-"

"Go to your office now, I'm sure there's work waiting for you in there"

I rolled my eyes, annoyed can obviously seen on my face as I walked out of the office.

I muttered random things in annoyance as I entered my office. It was surprisingly big for a person. I knitted my brows seeing two desks. But my eyes suddenly adverted to my table.

There it was.

All the paper works sitting on top of my table waiting for me to separate them.

I sulkily sat down on the rolly chair and decided to calm my nerves down to start my work.

Hours have past and it's now 5pm and I'm finally done with my work. My wrist are sore from checking and putting the papers in the categories they needed to be placed. My tummy was growling and it needed some food to fuel it so I decided to stop by the cafe near this building.

But before anything else, I need to go to my father's office to bid my goodbye.

I knocked on the door and the same voice answered.

"Hey dad. I'm done with the works you've given me and I think my braincells couldn't handle more work", I said slowly approaching his desk.

He chuckled and said,"Good job sweetie. I couldn't imagine you finishing the work cause you're a couch potato and you also look like one."

"Dad!", slightly taken back by his words, offended.

"I'm joking Eri. Now please don't be late for tomorrow and bring me some coffee when you arrive here. You can go now cause it's dark outside. I'll finish some of this and head home", he said looking at his laptop.

"Welp, ok then dad. I'll get going and drop by near the cafe cause I'm starving!", I said walking towards the door as I hear him laugh.

"Don't be late for tomorrow!", he said as I closed the door.

"Yes dad. Love you!", I said as I walk inside the elevator.

As I pressed the button and the doors was closing, someone yelled.

"Wait! Miss wait!"

As exhausted as I look, I decided to help a man out and held the door for them.

As soon as I saw this man running towards me my jaw dropped instantly.

He was wearing a form fitting suit that compliments his body well. A black tie was paired with his suit. His right hand was fixing his hair and his other hand was busy holding a file.

"god damn", I though while bitting my lips to prevent making a sound.

I fixed my posture and moved to the very side as he entered.

Well my dumbass was so stupid that I panicked when he moved closer to me as I feel his suit toucing my bare shoulders.

"W-what are you doing?"

He smirked going closer and put his arms on the iron walls of the elevator.

"What do you think I'm doing?"

He said huskily. My eyes fixed on his hands while he glides his arms pressing the button 2nd floor.

I immedietly scolded myself for being such a nervous swine. I let out a breath that I didn't notice I was holding while he laughs quietly going at the other side facing me.

I was embarrased yet so pissed that he did that to me without any consent. Does he not know I'm the daughter of who runs this company?

I can feel the heat in my face as I turned my body to him ready to open my mouth when he spoke first.

"Hold it there missy, I just wanted to have fun with my new partner. You're probably confuse but you'll find out soon. Sorry to come out like this in our first meet but I couldn't pass a moment like that.", he laughed.

"What?!"

Then suddenly the elevator made a sound signaling it was opening on the 2nd floor.

"Well gotta go now. It's nice seeing you Eri. See you soon princess", he said as he went out and waved showing his smile.

Once the door closed, my mind was bombarded with question with why was the hot guy suddenly called me by name and what does he mean partners?

For the love of god, I don't want anything to do with that guy. He seems like a problem to me.

Yeah, he's hot and all but he'll be an  ass for sure.

I cleared my mind off deciding to shrug it off and forgetting the guy when I felt my stomach made a sound. Good thing I was the only one here or my day could've gotten worse.

The door finally opened welcoming me in the room where I first walked in. I hurridly walked passed the workers bowing, sending them a smile before I hoped on my car not forgetting to drop by the cafe.
