Mass at Gesu.
Bea's POV
We're here now at Gesu, in every end of basketball and volleyball season each team gather always here to have a mass, to thank God with all the guidance, blessings, and for a injury free season for each team. Itong lugar na ito ang isa sa mga nakakakita ng kasayahan, kahirapan, mga pagsubok, kabiguan, at mag sakripisyo ng mga manlalaro. Ang lugar na ito ang naging sandalan ko sa mga panahong kinakailangan ko ng makakausap. Last year, napuno ng kalungkutan ang lugar na ito dahil sa pagkabigo naming makuha ang kampeonato at dahil sa pag - alis nila ate Ly, ate Kiwi, at ate Mae. At ngayong taon nanaman ay mapupuno ng kalungkutan ang lugar na ito dahil sa pag - alis ng mga graduating players isa na rito si baby Gi, I don't want to stare at baby Gi because I know if I stare at her my tears will be trigger. After this mass I know that the next scenario will be so sad, because its the final speech for the graduating players.
After the mass, other graduating players from the men's volleyball team gave their speech so now baby Gi will give her final speech for the ateneo community, for the fans, and for us.
Gizelle: To the Ateneo community thank you for always supporting us, thank you for the five wonderful years, thank you for all the love and memories, no word can express on how happy and grateful I am. To the fans, thank you for all the love, for all of your sacrifices, for your undying support although sometimes we fell short but you're always at our back, for being our inspiration to go to training even it's kinda hard "Hi Coach Tai hahaha", for making us happy I won't forget our memories, and your undying love and support, next year katabi niyo na ko sa sidelines at kasamang sumisigaw ng One Big Fight! To my teammates I'm so proud sa inyong lahat, more kulitans and iyakans please haha, to the Fab 5 2.0 thank you for all of the chitchats that we shared, for late night talks at the balcony haha, to the Triple Towers of Katipunan thank you for all the gala, inuman and dramas we shared haha especially to Bea wag ka nang umiyak, pangit mo pag umiiyak, but honestly thank you sa lahat Bei, sa libreng dinner, sa libreng beers haha, sa libreng advices, always gonna be your Baby Gi guys. This is Gizelle Tan number 7, officially signing off from the UAAP, One Big Fight!
After that we stand and clap our hands, hanep si Baby Gi may pa standing ovation pa siya hahaha. I thought na wala nang magsasalita kaya nagcellphone nalang ako but to my surprise I heard my teammates shouting ang looking at the stage, so I looked and I saw Jia, I'm surprised I didn't expect this, si Jia na laging nakaalalay sa akin, si Jia na laging umiintindi sa akin, si Jia na kapitana namin, si Jia na bestfriend ko. Bakit naman ganun? We promised to each other na no one will go if we're not yet finish our playing years. Why did she broke her promises?
Jia: I know you are all shocked and surprised especially my teammates, because no one aside from coach Tai and the athletics department know this, I kept this decision for almost 2 months, I know I have one more year to continue to play for the blue and white but I decided to give the chance to others because they deserve it. The past four years of my life in Ateneo became a rollercoaster ride, there are times we won a championship or we lose a championship, but despite all of the hardworks, sacrifices, and downful moments I am still thankful to the Almighty God because He gave me this opportunity to study and play in this kind of school and environment. To the Ateneo community thank you for the four wonderful years, thank you to our professors who always understand us, to the nurses and therapists at the Moro thank you for taking care of the players, to Father Jett thank you for giving us motivational speeches before our game, to our coaching staff thank you for taking care and being a understandable people to th team, thank you also to Coach Tai for giving us knowledge and skills in volleyball and for teaching the hearstrong mantra, thank you very much. To the fans thank you for your undying love and support to the team, for believing to the team, for being our inspiration to keep going, for making us happy, for trusting the team, for fighting with us when we have games, for praying for us, for the gifts that you gave, if we can entertain the all of you we're gonna do it for sure, sorry if we didn't bring the crown back to Katipunan, sorry for leaving this team, I want to thank all of you no words can express how grateful I am. To my teammates especially my batchmates sorry for not telling my decisions to you, to Jules our rookie I know you can do it I saw your passion and dedication in this sport, looking forward to see you fly high, to WongPong tandem can't wait to see you fly with your own wings, to Jho can't wait to see you leading the team to the championship Eagle Claw, to the batchies Maddie, Kat, Bei thank you for always there for me, for the late night chikahans, for helping me with my papers, for being my drivers, for being my food buddy, for being my roomies, for the beers we shared, for the heartbreaks you shared with me, for the tears we shared and for the friday night gala. To my batchmates thank you for being my co - captains, for giving me a friendship like this, to Beibei and Michifu thank you for being my bestfriend, truly JiaMich and JiBea are irreplaceable. I love you all guysss! So, this is Jia Morado, number 12 of the Ateneo Lady Eagles, signing off from the UAAP.
After Jia gave her final speech we stand and clap our hands, pagkababa niya sa stage Father Jett hugged her immediately and then the coaching staff, when she's about to hug our teammates nakita niya ako so I gave her a small smile. When I'm about to sit in my chair my phone suddenly rang.

On the phone:
Thirdy: I'm here at Bellarmine Field, I know you're not okay
Bea: You know me that much huh?
Thirdy: Why wouldn't? I know you since highschool, Isabel. And we've been best friends for 4 years, Love.
Bea: Okay okay I get it
Thirdy: I'm here now Love. If hindi mo na kaya punta ka lang dito. I'm gonna wait you here
Bea: Thank you, Love. I will finish this and I'm gonna go there, Ferdy haha.
Thirdy: aish Love, enough with that Ferdy thingy.
Bea: sorryyy I love to tease you lang
Thirdy: I love you Isabel
Bea: yeah yeah I love you too. Wait for me

When he hang up I looked at my teammates and I saw Jia and Mich talking, I know na may tampo si Mich kay Jia but maayos din nila yan si Michifu pa? Di naman niya kaya tiisin si Jia. For me naman, I'm not mad at Jia, malaki lang yung tampo ko sakanya cause she broke her promise I know I understand her but there's a part of me na nagtatampo sakanya because we've been bestfriends since my rookie year.
Bei. Ponggay called and caught my attention, I hugged her immediately.
Shh Beibei, it's okay, let's respect her decision nalang. Ponggay
I know Pongs, I understand her pero nakakatampo pa rin naman. I said
Kung si Michifu nga napatawad agad si Jia ikaw pa ganyan ganyan ka pa hahahaha. Ponggay said
We're different Pongs. I said
Okay okay beibei hahaha. Ponggay
When Ponggay stopped to teased me I sat at the side of the Altar, there are so many thoughts running in my mind. Bakit ganun? Bakit di man lang niya sinabi? I felt someone sat beside me so I looked at it.
Jia: Bei.
Bea: Uy Jia
Jia: I'm so sorry Bei
Bea: wala yun, it's your decision naman
Jia: I'm so sorry talaga Bei, please I know that you're mad at me but please, Bei, I don't want to lose you, I don't want to lose my bestfriend
Bea: Jia, the time when you decided to hide your decision from me, the time when you broke your promise, that time Jia, you already lose your bestfriend. Kaya don't tell me na you don't want to lose me kasi you already lose me, your bestfriend. I'm sorry Jia. I gotta go. Takecare always.
