Abuse
I sit in the corner.
I sit in the corner and cry, waiting for my mommy to come home.
My daddy is mean to me. My daddy is mean to mommy.
Daddy calls me some names and then hits me in the face.
He picks me up and throws me against a wall.
Mommy comes in and screams.
I begin to cry as Daddy pulls out o knife and put it to my throat.
My mommy says some bad words and runs for my daddy.
My daddy flinches and the knife seared the side of my throat.
My mommy screams "NO" and picks me up.
My daddy snatched me from her and broke my arm.
He threw me crumpled against the wall.
When I fell, he crunched my leg.
I screamed and was picked up once again.
My father slung me to the wall and left me there to die.
He cut my mother's wrist and walked out the door with a smirk on his face.
I faded in and out.
The last thing I heard was my mother's soft voice saying I love you.
And then the darkness took me over to the other side.
