Sohye takes her to bedroom and waits until she sleeps. Then she leaves the kids room and goes to the living room. She sees ahjumma is watching tv. Sohye sits beside her.
"Ahjumma.." Sohye smiles. "Oh.. Did Anna sleep?" asks ahjumma. Sohye nods. "How did Anna end up here?" asks Sohye wanting to know. How can a europian end ul here?
"Actually, her father was American and her mother was Korean. They lived in Los Angeles but when she was 2, they came here to visit the mother's village. Unfortunately, on their way from the airport, they had an accident. That's how" ahjumma sighs.
"Ah.. Pity little girl. It must've been hard" Sohye bites her lips. "Yes. I believe Anna will grow up as a strong lady. Just like you, Sohye" ahjumma smiles proudly. She is proud to watch Sohye grows up into a beautiful woman.
"Thank you ahjumma for taking care of me. I'm sorry that I still can't remember you but I'm sure someday I will" Sohye hugs her. Ahjumma strokes her hair.
