CHAPTER FOURTEEN

A/N: THE NEW BOOK WAS CHAPTER THIRTEEN JUST IN CASE SOMEONE WAS CONFUSED.

(The same day)

We were all sitting on the couch minding our business I was laying on Kentrell's chest when we heard gun shots I got up from the couch and grabbed Kayden and them I put them in the bathroom downstairs.

"Don't open this door unless you hear me call one of your names" I told them

I ran back to the living room and there were still more shots I ran upstairs to get the gun out of the safe Kentrell and them were already outside and I'm guessing that's who they were shooting back and forth with.

"Ava go in the bathroom with the boys" I said running downstairs

I prayed that everybody was okay knowing someone wasn't and I was hoping that it wasn't Gabe as tears formed in my eyes I texted my mom and dad and told them that I loved them because I was scared something was going to happen to me.

"CAMILA" I heard someone yelling my name knocking me out my thoughts

"What" I said looking up at Kendell

"Are you okay" he said

But when he said that something clicked I was forgetting about someone.

"Oh my god Kendell were is Ocean" I asked panicking

"She good she in the bathroom with Ava and the boys" he said hugging me

"Thank you lord, please tell me Kentrell and them okay" I said

"I can't because I don't know" he said looking sad

We were sitting there when we heard the gunshots stop I rose up and told Kendell to wait right there I gripped the gun in my hand tighter and I walked to the door slowly and opened it a little peeking out I saw two body's laying on the ground and I ran out when I did someone grabbed me and I looked and it was Boomer.

"Let me go who is it" I said screaming

"Calm down" he said

"No, let me go I need to see" I said trying to get out of his grasp

I elbowed him in his stomach and he let me go I ran over to see Gabe laying on the ground.

"Oh my god" I said crying

"No, tú no" I said grabbing his hand
(No, not you)

"tienes que quedarte conmigo" I said
(You have to stay with me)

"no puedo dejarte ir, Okay Gabe You have to stay" I said
(I can't let you go)

He looked in my eyes and nodded I heard the ambulance and I looked over at Star who was laying on the ground Kentrell was holding on to her and I cried even more the ambulance arrived and they both were fighting for there life's.

"Come on" Kentrell said to me

"I can't" I whispered

"I'm sorry baby" he said

"He can't go Kentrell I need him" I said as he pulled me into a hug

"I know he gon be alright he a fighter" he said

"I feel so selfish I'm sitting over here talking about my problems when Star just got shot to" I said wiping my tears.

"Are you okay" I asked

"To be honest I don't know what to do without Star if anything happen how imma tell Kamiri imma have to take care of him by myself" he said sitting on the porch stairs.

"I'm here for you I'm not going anywhere and I feel you I don't know what or how imma explain this to my parents and what imma do without Gabe" I said honestly.

"I gotchu" he said kissing me

"I got you to" I said

"Aye Camila we need you" Three said

I got up and walked in the house and they all looked at me.

"What is it" I asked

"Me and Ava walked out the bathroom and when we did the boys shut the door and locked it they said they not coming out until you tell them to" Ocean said

"Kayden baby you can unlock the door now" I said

As soon as I said that the door shot open and him and his brothers walked out and they all hugged me

"It's okay baby's" I said hugging them

"Oh my god I want a child" Ava said

"Y'all finna make me cry" Ocean said

"She a keeper" Babyjoe said

"Y'all Okay" I asked

"Yes" they said

"Okay well let's go upstairs and watch some paw patrol" I said smiling

I walked upstairs to me and Kentrell room and turned on the tv and put on some paw patrol they climbed on the bed and I helped them I closed the blinds and they layed on the bed I kissed there forehead and I walked out closing the door.

"Are you okay" Ocean asked

"Yeah I'm good just happy the boys are okay" I said lying about me being okay

"Camila you can drop the act I know when your not okay just because we haven't seen each other in a few months don't mean I don't know you" she said

Tears started to form in my eyes and I looked down and back up again I covered my face for a few minutes.

"It's just that something in me told me that it was Gabe he was supposed to be coming here to see me" I said dropping to the floor

"It's okay Camila it's not your fault" she said sitting beside me hugging me

"But I feel like it is" I said

"I promise you it's not and I know Gabe doesn't feel that way either" she said

"Your probably right" I said wiping my tears

"All the time" she said making me laugh

"Let me go check on the boys while I'm up here" I said standing up

"Okay I'll be down stairs" she said

I walked in the room and they were sleep I walked to the bed and put cover on them and went back out and walked downstairs.

"You going to the hospital" Kentrell asked

I breathed in and then out and then I sighed.

"Yeah" I said scared
