Lazy Day- Louis

Cheyenne's Point Of View

I knocked on the door 3 times, "Louis!" Another three times, "Louis!" And another three times, "Louis!" "Yes Sheldon?" Louis asked as he opened the door. We then burst out laughing and walked inside. "Sooo my friend, what are we doing today?" I sat down on the couch while asking this. "Well my friend, we are going to have, a lazy day!" I grinned widely as did he, we love having lazy days. "I got the movies!" I shouted running over to his movie shelf and he ran to the kitchen, "I got the food!" 

I looked through his shelf until I found like, 3 movies. I then went over to the DVD player and put in the first movie, Grease. Me and Lou both love this movie so of course we're watching it first! He finally came back with popcorn, assorted chips, a variety of candy's, juice, and some soda. I smiled and pressed play on the remote. "I love this movie!" He said excitedly and I laughed a bit, "Same here!" Who doesn't like this movie?!" He shouted and threw his hands in the air, "I don't know!" I shrugged and we laughed some more until the movie actually started.

After watching Grease, and much singing along, Lou put in The Notebook. "Do we have to watch this?" He asked and I nodded, "Yes, we do." He sighed but sat down next to me and shoved a hand full of popcorn into his mouth. About half way through the movie I could tell Louis was bored out of his mind, and I laughed a little. I turned back to the screen and not long after that I felt something hit my face, I  looked down at my lap to see a tiny piece of popcorn. 

"Did you just throw popcorn at me?" I asked him, he nodded and smiled wide. I picked up my popcorn bowl and threw one at him, then turning my attention back to the movie that I thought was amazing. He then chucked another one, I saw this coming and moved out of its path so it landed on the floor. "Ha!" I said to him and he frowned but couldn't keep back at least a small smile. 

"Popcorn war?" He asked simply, I nodded and replied, "Popcorn war." With that I grabbed my bowl and went to get up off the couch, he had his legs on mine and I shoved him away and then ran towards the kitchen. I turned to see him chasing after me, I looked forward so I didn't crash into anything. I dove behind the island in the kitchen and when I scanned the room, I didn't see him. 

I became alert, any sound or movement could mean he's there. He didn't come out or anything so I let out a quiet breath I didn't know I was holding in, I leaned back against the stove and ate a piece. I was about to drop one in my mouth when I heard something fall to the ground with a loud clatter. I looked over to see the broom had fallen from behind the door to the laundry room, and behind that door I could now see Louis with a ton of popcorn in his hand. 

I quickly scrambled off the ground and he tossed it all into the air, some hit me but most fell to the ground. I laughed and then saw him coming towards me, I ran down a hall and out the door to the backyard. The sun was shining bright and there was the perfect amount of wind thankfully blowing in the direction I wanted, so my hair was behind me. I ran across the yard and to the corner of it, not such a smart idea. 

"So, now you are cornered!" He said walking over now, I saw there was space between the fence and him so I took the risk. I sprinted away but he was quick and wrapped his arms around my waist, making it hard to run away. We were both laughing and I kind of just gave up with trying to run, it was actually really nice to be in his arms.

Wait, he's my best friend, what am I saying? Well, I guess I've alway had a small crush on him. We looked into each others eyes and gradually stopped laughing, I've never really taken the time to see just how blue and beautiful his eyes were. I was paying so much attention to his eyes and the fact that he had his arms around me that I didn't realize he was leaning towards me, without thinking I leaned in as well. 

Before I knew it his lips were on mine, it was amazing. When we pulled away he looked to the ground and let me go, I looked to the ground too. It was kind of awkward then, something that rarely happened between us. "Uh, I- I'm sorry about that, Cheyenne." He told me and I don't know where it came from, but I got the courage to say, "Don't be. Louis, I- I've liked you for a umm, a while..." I looked up to see his reaction, he quickly shot his head up and smiled. "I've, I've liked you for a while too." He said to me and I smiled as well, this went better than I thought. 

"Cheyenne?" he said. "Yeah?" He then asked me, "Would you, please be my girlfriend?" I saw him bite his lip, he looked nervous. I nodded my head and hugged him, "Of course Lou, I would love to be." He hugged back and I could feel him start to relax. He pulled away form our hug and looked me in the eyes, then kissed me again. 

"Lou?! Cheyenne?!" I heard someone call, it sounded like Harry but I didn't care to look. "Lou- Oh." We then both looked over to see him by the door smiling cheekily. "I came by to drop this off, but I'll just leave you two." He said and went back inside, Lou and I laughed some and headed back towards the house.
