It's the morning. A Monday morning, which means school.
Great (note sarcasm).

I slide out of my bed and walk to my wardrobe. I have to make a good first impression, which means I have to look good. This school has a reputation for being the best school in the state with the best students, so I have to fit in.

I close my bedroom door behind me to the sound of Dylan calling for me to hurry up.

"Ok! I'm coming!" when I turn around, I see a woman walk out of my dad's bedroom, with her blouse open. Typical.

"Hi, I'm Barbra. Sorry-"

I quickly cut her off.

"Don't worry Barbra, I'm used to it" I turn around and walk down the hallway, the super model like woman following close behind me.

"Wait, what do you mean by 'used to it', Am I not the first?"

She sounds annoyed.

I turn around and face her just as I reach the stairs "You are definitely not the first...
because hello, where do you think I came from? and I'm sorry to say this to you, but you probably won't be the last" Barbra starts crying as I rub her shoulder.

I can't really feel any sympathy for these women anymore, I see a different woman cry everyday, it's basically a routine.

As I walk down the stairs, Jordan and Dylan are both at the bottom, looking at me.

"Barbra" I simply state to them as she pushes past me and runs out the door, still crying hysterically.

"I don't think Barbra took the news too well" Jordan laughs.

"Yeah but at least she's not as bad as Linda. That woman threw every piece of furniture she could grab out the window. All four of us had to shove her out the door together, she would not leave. At least Barbra let herself out" Dylan says, making all of us laugh harder.

We have literally had the craziest women in our houses, which just shows that my Dad will sleep with ANYONE.

"Where's Liam?" I ask, looking around the room.

"He's in the car. Don't talk to him today Zo. He's pretty pissed" Jordan sighs before walking to the door and opening it.

"Carly?" I walk through the door to see Liam, with no emotion on his face, sitting in his black jeep.

"Yep" I hear Dylan say as he follows behind me.

Carly is-was Liam's girlfriend, she lived in one of the many towns we "visited". She's a complete slut but Liam loved her. Liam and her tried doing the whole long distance relationship thing for a couple months but obviously it didn't work out, we all knew it wasn't going to last though.

"You look good by the way Zo, try and make an impression today, it might help you" Jordan says as he jumps in the front seat.

"Says the most popular womanising jock in the USA" I mutter as I get in the back seat, making Dylan laugh.

"I heard that" Jordan says while looking down at his phone.

Here we are.

Our new school, and it's massive.

There are hundreds of students flooded outside the door, talking. No wonder this school has a reputation, every student looks perfect.

"Zo, are you going to get out of the car" Dylan pokes me.

I gulp and slightly nod.

"You're nervous aren't you?" Jordan teases as they both stand in front of my open door.

"No" I simply state, as I jump out the car, acting confident.

"Bye Li-" I don't even get to finish my sentence before Liam drives off, leaving us in front of the school.

"Wow, he really is pissed" I laugh in surprise as his car disappears.

"Told you" Jordan shrugs.

We all turn to face the school, in a line. Me in the middle, like always.

"Ready?" Dylan asks both of us as we continue to look at the gigantic school, wide eyed.

"Ready." I push my nerves away, and step forward on to the pavement.

As soon as I'm seen, every student stops their conversation and looks our way.

It's that quiet right now, that I can only hear three pairs of footsteps...ours, and whispering.

"It's The Peterson's"

"Why are they at our school?"

"Wasn't their mother murdered?"

As I continue to walk forward, I can feel my brothers close behind me.

Everyone has made a path way for us, making it more awkward.

When I reach the doors everyone goes back to their conversations and acts like nothing happened.

Wow, how I love being the new kid.

It's Lunchtime now.

The day has been shit so far to be honest.

Everyone just keeps looking at me like I'm some kind of murderer they saw on TV.

Which is actually true though, since I was on the news for months for being a suspect in my mother's investigation.

But anyways, I don't think the outfit is working, this school is just judging me...for being me.

My brothers aren't being judged though, Jordan is already in with the popular people, which is no surprise.

And Dylan, well he's with all the computer nerds like usual.

It's like any other school. Jordan is always popular, Dylan is always a nerd and I'm always left out.

I'm currently in line at the Cafeteria.

The line is so long, so I'm just looking over at Jordan who has two cheerleaders on his lap.

"First day of School and he's already more popular then I'll ever be. I guess he's a Peterson though" I hear someone say from beside me.

"Yeah, well it's my first day too and I think the opposite is happening to me. I haven't talked to anyone at all, everyone is just staring at me"

I hear the boy laugh at my comment. I turn to face him and I'm shocked. Standing next to me is the most attractive guy I have seen, ever. He has the most gorgeous eyes and his brown hair is perfect. He continues to laugh and then smiles, showing off his bright teeth, making me smile too.

"How can someone not want to talk to a person that has such a beautiful smile, like yours" He says, looking right into my eyes.

"Apparently the whole school" I shrug, making him laugh again.

"What do they call you?" He asks, as the lunch lady pours some kind of liquid into both of our bowls. I can't tell him I'm a Peterson, It will ruin this perfect moment.

"Zoey, Just Zoey"

"Well, Just Zoey" he chuckles then continues "I'm Cameron, Cameron Dallas"

"Nice to meet you, Cameron Dallas" I put my hand out for him to shake it and he does.

"I'll see you around, Just Zoey" He winks and then walks off, leaving me by myself in the middle of the Cafeteria.

I smile and then walk over to an empty table, to eat alone.
