"Katy!" My mom yelled downstairs

"Coming" I said while giggling I know why my mom called me

"Katy what is this?" My mom referring to the mess on the floor.

"I don't know" I said innocently looking up to her.

"Don't , I don't know me Missy" mom said while copying my tone at the I don't know part

I giggled "mom there was a rat in the house" I said while batting my eyelashes

"What kind of rat can get a pile of sand inside the house all scattered up" my mom said in an angry tone.

"I'm sorry"I said putting my head down

"Well Missy what did u do" said my mom while tapping her feet.

"I just had a tea party" I said innocently

"A tea party with sand on the floor, are u serious Kate tell me the truth" my mom said while looking into my eyes.

"Ugh fine I just want to go to the beach its so boring here" I said while rolling my said eyes.

"Fine, but dont u roll ur eyes at me young lady, and clean this mess up" my mom said going back to what she was doing

I started cleaning the entire room it was so exhausting well I guess I learn my lesson to not put sand on rugs with actual fur its hard to get it off.

I was playing outside with my friends when I spotted a man behind the big tree I started to walk to the man to asked why he was staring at me

I was suddenly pulled back I didn't even realized I was almost hit by a car

"What are u doing Kate u scared the shit out of me"my mom said while gasping she must have been running.

"I just saw a man staring at me and I wanted to asked him why?" I said looking up to her.

"That's a stranger sweety and on top of that why didn't look both sides young lady before crossing the road"my mom said while she put her hands on her hip

I wasn't listening on her rant anymore because I looked back at the tree were the man was and was nowhere to be seen

"Kate are u listening"she said while snapping her fingers in front of me

"Yeah I'm okay" I said while slowly going back to the house

Just another normal scolding day for putting cinnamon on her coffee
"Katy!" Mom shouted while chasing me.

Speaking of chase my mom is fast
"I'm gonna get u little brat" my mom said while laughing.

"U can't catch me" I said while wipping the sweat that I had dropping out of my head
*Damn this old lady can run* I think to myself.

I laugh at my statement
It doesn't take long before she catches me and tickle me until I was gasping for air

There was someone at the front door
"its not dad its only 9am" I think to myself while getting up.

I got to the door and open it, it was a girl a blonde one about 5 years old like me.

"Hi "she said shyly

"Umm hi who are u" I said nicely

"I'm cathy" she said while giving me a box

"I just moved here"she said while shyly looking down

She's so pretty "sweety who is it you're taking forever there" my mom said curious

"Mom heres the new girl from next door" I said while letting her in.
