Once they said those things I couldn't stand to be in the room any longer so I ran back to the beach and just dove in the water. I started swimming away but then one of my classmates saw me and said "You really are a mermaid. I am sorry about my comments. I was just shocked that you were one. I have seen them before just never thought your dad was one." I replied with "My dad isn't one. My mom is. She is here accually if you want to meet her.
