As Levi got dressed he looked out the window and saw Mikasa heading out. He couldn't believe that he actually said those things. Yesterday was suppose to be the night he confessed his feelings but instead he let his emotions get the best of him and argued with her. He sighed and shakes his head. It's not like his feelings weren't hurt either after what she said to him.
Mikasa walks down the lonely street. It was a very sunny day and the wind was blowing ever so lightly. She liked this type of weather but didn't notice it today. She was way too heartbroken to have noticed anything. She couldn't believe that he would encourage her to be with another man. If he meant those things then that would obviously mean that he didn't like her the way she liked him. She groaned and went to the nearest bus station.
A few days later at school.
As Mikasa talks to Sasha she sees Levi down the hall talking with Erwin. He didn't notice her and just walks past her. She couldn't believe it. He had just ignored him. She was suppose to be mad at him... but then again she did say some nasty things too. He had every right to be mad. And so did she. She continued her day like he didn't exist. She could do without him for two years so it wouldn't be difficult for a few hours. And hours soon turn to days and she began to feel more and more sad. She had to apologize even if she really didn't want to.
Levi had just finished up his homework in the library and was proud of himself. He sat back and thought about how the past days had been really slow. He really wanted to apologize but every time he did something would go wrong. He stood up and went to put the books away. As he was about to leave Petra approaches him and hugged him and says "How was your studies babe?" Levi looked at her in disgust and dusted her arms off of him. "You know... I think we should stop this, it's been more than weeks. And I have been nothing but rude to you. How can you still love me you stupid woman?"
She looks at him and thinks and then smiles. "I don't know if we can call this love. I just like messing with your relationship." She winks.
Levi looks at her outraged and was about to say something but then Petra wrapped her arms around his neck and threw him into a kiss. He was use to these now and was disgusted every time she did so. This kiss was longer than usual and he looked at her eyes which were not focused on him but behind him. He pushed her back and turned around and there stood Mikasa. She didn't look happy but she didn't look sad either. Levi was about to explain but then she walks up to him and grabbed him arm. "I'm gonna borrow him real quick." She said to Petra as she ran with him. Mikasa ran outside still holding his hand. She turned around and looked at him almost as if about to cry. Levi looked at her and as she brought her hand up he thought she was gonna hit him but instead...
...I hugged him. I was mad, mad that she kissed him and sad that he let her get away with that, but I still loved him. "Levi... I just wanted to" but before I could continue he cut me off and as if reading my mind he said "I want to apologize Mika, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings it's just that... those weren't the words that were suppose to come out my mouth that day." I looked at him and smiled.
"Levi, I'm sorry too. I was just... just jealous that day."
Levi looked her surprised. "Jealous? You?" She looked him and then blushed, "I've been meaning to tell you this for awhile and I didn't know how to say it since you got into a relationship." She looked and him and said "ever since you left me that day I realized how lonely it was without you and how much I missed you." He looked at her and stroked her hair, "it was lonely for me too Mika." She started walking backwards, afraid of how he might react by her words. "No what I mean to say is that I rea-" but before she could finish her sentence she realized she was falling. Falling down a small cliff. She saw Levi running toward her. He wrapped his body around hers.
Poof
They landed in the school garden, surrounded by lavenders. Levi and Mikasa were laying in a position where Levi was hugging her and her head was to his chest. They both sat up. "Are you okay you idiot?" he said as he picked lavenders out of her hair. "You should be more car-.."
"I like you!"
The wind blew and Levi could now see Mikasa's face more clearly. It was a tint of red on her cheeks but little did he know that his cheeks were pink too. He looked at her and she looked at him. Only now did he realize how beautiful she really was under the sunlight with the few remaining lavenders in her hair. As corny as he thought it sounded, she really did look like a angel. And it made it even more perfect when the wind blew in her face to bring out her flawless straight hair.
Mikasa looked at him after she finished her confession. It was as if time had stopped and she was looking at her a prince out of a Fairy Tale. He looked so handsome as he looked at her with his gentle eyes and short black lashes. His jawline was perfectly shaped and lips were small but in a masculine way. His bangs were flying gently to expose his black crystal eyes. She really did like him.
"Tch." Was all he could say after her confession as he held his hand up to his face to cover up how red it was.
She looked at him and realized her mistake. She knew he didn't like him but she wanted him to know. She stood up and as she did so lavenders flew off of her skirt and danced with the wind.She covered her ears and said "So will you give me a answer? I know you don't love me so just reject me now and get it over with." Levi looked at her in surprise. Not love her? He couldn't believe that she had just confessed to her. He stood up and pulled her hands down. He grabbed her waist with one hand and face with the other and kissed her lightly. Mikasa was wide eyed. She looked at him and then kissed back. The lavenders were flying around them as birds sang.
