Happiness, that's all Nevaeh wanted, to escape the trauma the battle the forever fighting and fleeting from her demons, she just wants happiness. But even that's too much to ask when her father is lurking, searching to ruin her life, being told over and over again *you will not make it out alive*. As you have guessed by now Nevaeh's father is brutal, evil, and almost deadly and he will never be forgotten or forgiven for what he did...to Nevaeh's mother and to Nevaeh when they needed him the most, he left, and now he searches to destroy everything that Nevaeh and her mother hold dear. Life is not easy for Nevaeh battling against her own issues created by her father, protecting and caring for her un-well mother too. Nevaeh is just 16 years old yet has struggled for the past years to be here today against all odds she has come through and will not give up no matter how much she hurts.
Nevaeh has the best friends in the world and she trusts them completely as they have always been there for her and checked she was okay, she isn't one for letting her tears show and doesn't like showing that she is hurting but she feels safe and completely relaxed around them as they do not judge her, unlike others who have put their own thoughts first before actually talking to her, another battle she faces- bullies - she can't ever agree that she hates them because she knows deep down that hating them won't change anything she just has to prove to them that she is more than what they see her as and that she is better and stronger than they make her seem.
