Hi my name is Zoe and this story is about one wish that changes my life and this is where it starts...
I looked around at my bedroom, the book I was reading last night still on the night stand. I went over to my window feeling like something was about to change. I looked around outside my window as the fluffy balls of clouds dance across the pool of blue. I looked down at the street, 57 street. The same old oak tree was proudly standing with its jade leaves and brown trunk.
Suddenly I looked up. It was as if my whole body was tense and ready for something to happen...
"Zoe! breakfast. Come down now" my mum shouted up to me.
"I'll be down in a minute" I replied.
As I was about to run down the stairs my cat Layla (she is a black cat) jumped on me while growling louder than a bus. I let her down and run down the stairs. When I was downstairs my favourite breakfast was on the table pancakes with lemon and sugar . But I still had a sense that some thing is wrong. I looked around and I noticed that my mum wasn't there even though she always waits for me.
I looked at the clock, the time was 7:30. Wish was of odd I am never up this early on a weekend. Hang on is it a weekend, which day is it Saturday? Sunday? Monday? I realised it was Sunday yesterday, which means it is Monday...
Oh no i have to get ready and pack my bag.
Once I finished I rushed out of the house and went to school never dropping speed. I went from 57 street then to 69 street and finally primrose road. I went in apologising for being late. I looked at my classroom everyone was chatting but the odd thing was that my seat was taken by a new girl. Paige brown. I went over to say hi when she got up and came to me saying I have to go sorry. She stopped at me and said
"hi, my names Paige and how are you?"
"Hi, I'm good you" I replied
"Good, want to play a game" she asked
"Sure, what game" I answered
"Truth or dare" she replied
"Ok. Do you want to go first"
"Sure. Truth or dare"
"Truth"
"Umm...... If you could have any wish what would it be"
"Umm...... I wish I could control water and ice"
"Are you sure"
"Of course"
"Then I will give you your wish, but there is a price......"
