(Y/N) POV
The soft warm smell of the library and the small chime of the door bell as I open the door fills me with excitement and nostalgia. This old library used to be my favorite before the closed it due to a small fire. Luckily it seems everything is still in one piece.
I want to find a new book to read. One that isn't like any other. Yeah I've read many documentaries, fiction, non-fiction, and educational books. Because of this I am a new fave around here and I think they've started to expect that I'm bored with the genres I have now.
Non-fiction, fiction, Educational, Picture, documentaries... Aha! I grabbed a very old looking dusty book from the top shelf. Fantasy! I haven't tried any of these yet! Well, besides from school. I thought to myself flipping over the book. Wow, this is extremely dusty. I can't even read the description... I blow on the book and dust particles fly everywhere leaving me in a cloud coughing my brains out.
I haven't realized how loud I was being until an old lady at the desk counter pressed one finger to her leathery lips and exclaimed,"Shh, keep it down!" I mouthed the word 'sorry' and continued on. With the cloud gone I could finally read the back of the book... As I read it a few words stuck out to me. 'A character x Reader book... Love... Character... Sweet... Really can't put this book down...' I furrowed my brows. This is fan-fiction isn't it!
I pause for a moment until then holding the book close to me. Why not? I thought to myself walking over to the lady who told me to shut up. "Again I apologize for earlier.." I say handing her the book. She doesn't give me a straight answer, just a weird sly look. "You be-careful with that book there..." se says tapping her finger tips on the cover. A cold shiver runs through my body.
