Moving, again

I woke up, like always my mom yelled upstairs and asked if I was up, I replied with a quick, and dreadful, "yesssssss"

She came upstairs with a small box, wrapped in little heart wrapping paper and tied together with a bright red ribbon, she also handed me my anti depressants, remember when I said the cafeteria lady sat with me cause she thought I was depressed, YA so she decided to tell the school counselor who called me down to the office and told my mom I should see a doctor about my "depression" and just like I expected. She picked me up early and brought me strait to the doctor, who then prescribed me with anti- depressants. " IM NOT DEPRESSED" I remember yelling at the nurse.

"Honey,honey??" My mom asked concernly, "oh yeah, sorry" I said back quietly.

I took my medication and opened the box, it had a pearl necklace and a postcard, it had a picture of the Hollywood sign and on the back a small paragraph was written.

"Dear Lydia,

I know this is hard for you, and we moved to marville over the summer, but this is for the better." I looked at my mom, she was tearing up, then I continued reading. " I hope you will understand but we are moving to a small city in Cali, right near LA, it's called Hudson, I'm sorry if you are mad but we need the money, for our family" I really wouldn't call me and mom a family, I would call it a mess. I pretended to act happy, which I wasn't. I smiled at my mom, she smiled back. "When are we moving" I asked trying to sound peppy

"In a month" she said delightfully "I'm so glad your not mad she said smiling"

The truth was I was mad. We moved here in the beginning of the summer and after a week of school , but it could be a fresh start, no one likes me here, maybe I could change that at my new school.

*one month later*

Lydia's pov*

I got in the car and looked at the moving truck behind us, my mom showed me the house, and I was suprised we could afford it. But then again things are cheaper there then in marville, it has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a pool, and a huttub which the company payed for half. I actually thought it may not be bad after all.

* in Hudson*

When we arrived at our house I was so suprised, the house was 4x bigger than our old house, when I got to my room, I squealed of excitement it had a balcony that looked over some of our backyard and I could see LA in the distance, after unpacking. Me and my mom talked for a while, she slid me a credit card, I examined it, "what is this for" I similed

"My company got it for you, because of the inconvience, it has $500 on it"

"500 DOLLARS" I yelled.

She nodded, "a limo is gonna pick you up in an hour so that you can go to a mall and shop" she said happily

I thanked her and smiled . Later that day I arrived at the mall, it was in LA and it was huge....(like please)
