Now came one of the major months of the pregnancy ,the Revealing month. where the expecting mother goes to a sacred lake that only appeared to them. There the baby soul will glows three colors. One for the gender, one for powers, and one for tribe. For royal yokai, there can be more than one color for powers, especially with the Enma Tribe involved.
Mystica found the lake on the outskirts of the Ville, it was crystal clear like a mirror. Tiny white fish swam through the water as if it were the onyx colored night sky and the fish were the stars. Admiring the beauty for a moment, before stepping in the cold lake water, Mystica calmed her self. Her eyes glowed a violet color,on cue the lake flashed a blinding white color. A few moments later, the baby's soul glew in response.
"Sacred Lake that has come to me, I asked that you to reveal the gender, powers, and tribe of my child. As the queen of the Yokai world,I humbly ask you " Her voice shook the water, causing ripples that disturbing the small fish.
The soul glowed pink revealing that the baby would be a girl. Mystica smiled, happy that she would be the mother of a very cute Koma girl. The next princess of the Yokai world would be a rare female komigen.
"Oh Sacred Lake please reveal the powers that my child will have in the future" Her eyes looked towards her baby's soul
The soul glowed red for fire. So the princess would have fire abilities just like her father, Komasan. Then it blew purple for dark magic just like the queen herself, like mother like daughter. Then before going white, it blew golden yellow which proved that her daughter had the powers of the Enma Clan within her
Now for the final question.
"Sacred Lake, I thank you for providing me the answers I seek. I ask that you reveal my daughter's tribe and can be then I shall relieve you of your duty" Her to be was gentle, rubbing her stomach
The soul glew pink. Her daughter was a part of the Charming Tribe. Like father like daughter. Oh how happy Komasan would be to learn this.
She laid a pearl in the lake and got out, the lake accepted her offering and evaporated into the wind. Now she need a creative way to tell her family this exciting news. Perhaps with a sweet bakery treat that will assist her in helping share that information.
