My inspiration for the book

My main inspiration was from my favorite series Divergent (if you know you know highly recommend it though) that's where I got the whole future society idea from and its mainly what the series is based off of. I started writing this book in drama club when we had nothing to do. Me and maybe 7 other kids were really bored so i started a document on my computer one day and invited them on. we ended up coming up with a really cool plot and decided to make it into a story which turned into a book. After drama club ended i stuck with it and went back and re did it with the help of my friend Owen. The character Jack is an OC that I made up when I first started writing and is based off no one. Lily is based of me and a persona of myself I chose to emphasize and write about. Shes fun, crazy, loud, sweet, caring, and strong but also has little bit of a darker side which is VERY close to myself although I'm less outspoken and spunky than she is. Amanda is based of my best friends Olivia who is strong, tough, selfless, caring, and protective to everyone she cares about, In a tough situation Olivia would be the one to keep her cool and lead everyone to safety but still knows how to have fun VERY similar to Amanda (fun fact: the name Amanda originated from drama club where we tricked Owen into thinking Olivia's name was Amanda for months). Reese is based off of one of my old friends Ella who is also crazy, fun, caring, and sweet, but is also centered and serious. She was very similar to Reese where she was more sensible and quieter than I am but also wilder (not crazy) and funnier than I am. Iris is based off my friends Iris (who is an amazing writer) and she is smart, kind, caring, sweet, strong, out going, and determined. Iris in super smart and the nicest person ever but also funny and loud and outgoing She is very similar to Iris (in the book) excpt louder and crazier. Nova is based off of my friend Owen who is....well he's Owen- jk Owens an awesome guy who specifically asked to be "the dude with a gun and grenade launcher who blows things up and tries to kill people" (we will never understand him). There are more characters based off people but if i was to go through them all this would be 9 pages wrong. Thank you to all of you. And again I say enjoy!
