[3RD POV]
[Y/N] sighed, she had to have a job soon. The greedy idiots who owned the home she lived in demanded for the rent already, right after her parents died.
Both of a heart attack, 2 days apart. Leaving [Y/N] with her older brother Liam. She was the one who had to get a job, as no one would hire Liam because he was paralyzed from waist down. He had to have a wheelchair. He thought of himself as a burden.
He lost focus of a lot of things, he wouldn't sleep often, or he would sleep too much, eat less or eat a lot. It was all signs of depression. He was soon diagnosed with depression soon after. Which broke both his heart, and [Y/N]'s heart.
[Y/N] was afraid he would become suicidal. So she needed a job to help Liam.
She sighed, looking at her laptop. An ad popped up at the top of the screen
Looking for Myth Hunters! Call ***-***-**** To apply!
[Y/N] smiled, grabbing her phone and dialing the number.
[TIME SKIP cause Idon't know how interviews work]
[Y/N] was honestly surprised and happy that she managed to get the job. She would start working in a week. She had enough money to last til then.
Hopefully.
Liam insisted he would push himself wherever the siblings went. [Y/N] couldn't do anything about it, she didn't want Liam to feel even worse than before.
"Hey Liam!"
[Y/N] yelled from her room, Liam was most likely in the living room sitting there reading a book, or watching T.V.
He called back
"Yeah?"
[Y/N] grabbed a wallet she had on her dresser, it wasn't much, but it was able to hold the things she needed. Then she yelled back at her brother.
"Wanna go get something to eat?"
[Y/N] could hear the sound of wheels being rolled against the floor. She could tell that was already a yes, he was probably getting ready. [Y/N] and Liam are siblings, they know each other very well.
[Y/N] smiled, slipping shoes on. She already changed clothes before calling for an interview for the myth hunters... it was over the phone, which was quite surprising.
She walking into the living room, shocked that Liam was already there. He had to have been excited if he got done so fast...
[Y/N] opened the door walking out, Liam following the girl. They walked til they found a restaurant. (Time toRIP-off a McDonald's) [Y/N] ordered coffee and a burger (now I'm hungry ;-;)
Liam ordered the same thing, but with coke. [Y/N] mumbled, Liam still being able to hear what she said,
"I think I figured out why no one hires you. Your mentally a child..."
Liam, being O F F E N D E D Said, "Tsk, am not."
Now the duo(lingo) were saying 'are too' and 'am not' over and over again... until Liam said 'are too.'
"AHH"
Liam got mad at himself. And naturally did a child-like screech.
Making others in the restaurant look at them.
[Y/N] smiled, "You admitted to it!"
Then they ate their food. A bit fast. And then they walked home, or more like [Y/N] pushed Liam in the wheelchair, not listening to him protesting about being pushed.
Then, [Y/N] got a call.
By the people who hired her. She answered, hoping she wasn't fired before she even made it to her workplace.
"Uh... Miss [L/N] (Last name). We have quite a lot of workers quitting. Do you mind... coming tomorrow instead of next week?"
[Y/N] smiled and said, "Sure!"
And then she hung up.
[THE NEXT DAY]
[Y/N] ran over to the place where she'd be working. It was a big building, hidden in the forest for safety reasons (This isn't based of of a game)
[Y/N] found a male, who looked at her and said, "Are you [Y/N] [L/N]?"
[Y/N] nodded as a reply, and the male went back to talking.
"I'm supposed to lead you to your first... assignment I guess you could call it."
He led [Y/N] to a door, and opened it. Not very easily. There was a code. He told [Y/N] the code,
"The code is 3654."
He then handed [Y/N] files, and left her to walk inside. She walked inside, looked at the file. It said,
'Figure out a bit on their past.'
Confused, she looked up and saw a dark-skinned male with white dots spread all over, wearing a hat. And a gray-ish skinned male with a hat and a sword on his back.
The gray-ish skinned male then said,
