The Life of a Teenage Girl

Chapter 4:9th & 10th Grade Year

The 9th grade year was a new year for Savannah, Anna and Jake. As Savannah got ready for her new school year, she kept thinking about her mom and thought how much her mom would be proud of her for starting High School this year. As she entered the High School, she felt someone put there arm around her shoulder she looked and it was her best friend on one side of her and her boyfriend on the other, As the three entered the school the felt nervous and ready to see what the new school year has to hold for them. It has been four months scenes Savannah has started  her High School year and staring at 3pm when the students get out for a week for Thanksgiving. As the school to get out for a week Savanna meets up with Anna and Jake, Anna ask her to come to her house on Tuesday for Thanksgiving with her and her family. She tells Anna that she will be there. Then Jake ask her to come over Friday to have Thanksgiving with him and his family, she tells him that she will be there.  Thanksgiving break was all most over and Savannah and her family went to visit Mrs. Potter the last day before school started back. Savannah was so upset that her family had to get her to leave before she made herself sick. When Savannah got to school the next day she was still upset and she did not want anyone a rounder the whole day. December came around, it was the last week of first semester and everyone was done with semester test and when school was let out Savannah and Anna went to Savannah's house to hang out. After hanging out for a couple of hours Anna went home. The next day Savannah and her family were getting ready for their yearly Christmas party. When the party was over a few of Savannah's friends had stayed the night. Christmas day was something the family enjoyed. When the family got done opening their presents the got ready and went to family and friends for Christmas. The rest of Christmas break the Potter family and a few more parties. When school started back the students had to get ready for the next two month for testing in March-April. So when Savannah, Anna and Jake were together they all study because they had the same classes. After all of the studying and test taking they had to do they all three passed and going to the 10th grade. Anna told Savannah that just think how much her mom would be proud of her on how smart she is. Savannah said yeah and on how she would say that she had a great friend and a great boyfriend. After all of the happiness they just had to wait for the end of the year which was only have to wait one more week and they will be out for the year. When the end of the year apportioned Savannah was planning to go on vacation with her family to the beach.  Anna and Jake asked Savannah what did her and her family were going to do over the summer. Savannah told them when the day school lets out her and her family were going to do a two week road trip to the beach and back. Anna asked her if she would like to come over to her house when she got back from her family trip so that way they can go swimming and have fun. Savannah said that would be a great plan. Jake wanted Savannah to come over and for her and her family to come over the next day to hangout with his family and she agreed to that to. It seems like Savannah has the rest of her summer planed out between Anna, Jake and her family. When the 10th grade started she was excited to be a Sophomore. After the first week of school she could not help but think she would be a Junior next year. She was a little upset that her High School Years will be over in two years. Yet again she thought she might go to College or get married. After the first couple months of school Savannah was out for Thanksgiving. Savanna had Thanksgiving with her family. Then the following day she went over to Anna's house to spent Thanksgiving with Anna and her family. The same day after she left Anna's house. Savannah and her family went over to Jake's house to spend time with him and his family. A month and half passed it was time for Christmas and Savannah and Jake's two year anniversary of being together. After Christmas Brake it was testing time again. So as Savannah, Anna and Jake get ready to take the test. As usual Savannah get nervous about the test and Anna and Jake have to tell her that it will be alright she will do fine on the test like she has done in the past. After the testing months are over it is the last week is here and they all three find out that they pass and are going to be Juniors next year. The day that Savannah got her testing grades back when she got home she told her father that she was going to be a Junior next year and he was so proud of her. She told Him thank you and said that she know that her mom was proud of her as well. The last day of school was here and Savannah was on her way home because that night she was having her birthday party. Anna was going home with Savannah again this year. Anna has been bas in town for a year no and was going to say in town for a long time. When the party was over Savannah and Anna stayed up until 2 am talking and watching movies. Anna asked her what she was going to do for the summer?  Savanna said that she was going to hang out at home and probably hang out with her and Jake. After the first couple of weeks of summer, Savannah went to water day at church and she took Anna and Jake with her and they had a blast. Some of Savannahs friends that she use to hang out with that was with her when she got the news that her momma had died was off in the distant and when up to her and asked why she was hanging out with Anna and Jake all the time? She told them that Anna has been her best friend for a long time. She also told them that she had moved off back in the 5th grade and she had moved back into town a year ago and she also told them that Anna was like her sister. Because none of the other girls that Savannah had been friends with they were the ones that made fun of her at church and school even if they were there when her momma died. As for the other girl that her mom took home that night had cancer and she had passed away not to long after Savannahs mom died. As for Jake she told them, she told them that he was her boyfriend and her understood how she was felling. Because he lost him mom about the same time she did and she also told them that God wanted them together. That they had been together for 2 years all ready and they were happy and nothing was going to become between them. She also told them that she did not want anything else to do with them three girls at all. They said fine and walk off. After that happened Anna and Jake walk over and asked her what happened and she told them.  She had a perfect summer that year and could not ask for a better summer.
