X1 (엑스완) - 비상: QUANTUM LEAP
I'm Here For You 괜찮아요

❚❚►_____________________________ 4:40

Jeongguk sat in his wheelchair, cast covered legs slightly lifted in front of him, thoughts wandering in all kinds of directions.

Mind feeling like it's completely tied together, creative energy drained and not flowing anymore like it was water running on tap before, but now it was tightly closed, only an occasional drop escaping from time to time.

Time here in the restricting walls of the hospital rooms was closing in on his third week by now -- it's been exactly twenty days and each of those felt more enclosing to his mind than the previous, only occasionally he felt the urge to pull out his camera that his aunt dropped off and snap a few shots that he all deleted anyways, unsatisfied with the quality or motive.

It had only gotten slightly better this last week when nurses and doctors had allowed him to now be provided and use a wheelchair to get by on his own.
Well, he still had to console help when he wanted to off his bed and inside but at least he could leave that stupid bed and move on his own.

His wandering off thoughts were quickly halted when the door swung open, doctor coming in with two nurses, slightly transparent pictures, what Gguk assumed to be his x-rays in his hand.

"So, Mr. Jeon. How are we doing?" The doctor's voice loud and deep, his glasses resting on his scalp instead of the bridge of his nose.

"Doing okay." Was all that would leave his lips, eyes still heavy from just having woken up thirty minutes ago to do said x-rays.

"Alright-" The doctor walked over to the lit up whiteboard, it was the best that Gguk could describe it as, clipping the shots onto it to get a better look. "So you see these are your legs, right?" He pointed at the pictures infront, two slight outlines around the stark white toned bone shaped lines.

"As you can see that's were the breaks are." He continued pointing out little details Gguk couldn't care less about. He didn't care what exactly was broken and what was causing them to need to do surgery and what has changed since their last x-ray -- all he cared about was getting out as soon as he could.

"-and overall you bones are growing back together quite quickly, very good news." His hearing resumed at the last words that left the doctor's mouth, sighing out in relief. "If everything goes smoothly, we might be able to release you end of next week."

He went to turn to Jeongguk, smile plastered on his face. "Any questions?

Gguk's mind started to wander again but not involving his own recovery -- but rather the one of his roommate.

He had started to talk to Taehyung on a friendly bases about the first few days of his second week into his stay and kept making conversation for the time being.
