When the doors closed everyone I guess knew I couldn't get out any other way so they walked away back to work. I was still scared,confused and starving! The girl walked up to me "Hi my names Teresa" she gave a nice smile. "Hi Teresa" I answered back. "where am I" "Welcome to the glade." She said deeply. "ok but what's out there and why wouldn't anyone let me go out there." "To keep you safe." She said. "Umm ok." "Well you look quite hungry." As she looked at my stomach. "Yeah kinda." Here we'll give you some left overs from frypans dinner last night." Who was frypan? I thought. I sat down next to a boy who looked about 13. "Hi" he said. "Hello. What's your name?" "I'm chuck" "Oh ok." I say.
After eating I met again with the boy named newt. I couldn't get over it...he was gorgeous. "Hey" "Hey greenie" "Uhh excuse me?" I say mad. "Don't worry that's what we call everyone when your new." Oh ok" I say. "Umm so did you need some thing?" He says with this adorable accent. How was I gonna tell him I liked him..On my first hour here! "Uhh nothing just trying to get to know people." Oh alright"
Before I knew it I was in bed. We sleep outside on hammocks made out of rope. Everyone was asleep I have wasnt. Neither was Teresa. Then there's a HUGE grumbling noises. "Teresa what's that?" I say very worried. "Don't worry it's just the walls changing." Changing? What the hell? I was thinking. "Oh and the grievers but don't worry they can't get in." After that I fell sleep knowing I was half safe.
