Chapter 4

(Flashback)
Neji's POV
I was walking back to the my home since the academy is already over. When I opened, I saw my Uncle standing there waiting for me."Hello there, uncle", I said,"Neji, where is Hinata?", he asked crossing his arms.'Oh no, I forgot about Hinata', I said in my mind."Neji, where is she?",he said giving me a glare,"I forgot about her", I said looking down in the ground."Well, you better go find her or your not coming inside", he said closing the door right in front of my face."Great, that's just great", I whispered to myself.
At the academy...
I started searching everywhere,"Neji?", I heard someone say my name. I turned around and saw Iruka-sensei standing there holding some books."Hello, Iruka-sensei", I said,"What are you doing here?, you know the academy is over", he said, looking confused."I know, but I forgot Hinata, do you know where she is?", I asked,"Well, she did came to me to ask where you went and I told her you went home then she started walking back", he said.,"Thank you, Iruka-sensei" I said bowing to him,"No problem, Neji", he said.
Few minutes later...
When I arrived at my home , I saw Hinata standing there next to her father. I walked in front of them and gave them both a nod. I was about to get in the house, but my uncle's arm stopped me."You better not do it again, Neji", he said looking at me,"Im sorry uncle, I won't do it again, I promise", I said bowing to him."Hinata get inside of the house, I need to speak with your cousin", he said looking at me with a serious face,"Yes father", she said getting inside."Neji follow me", he said starting to walk.
At the fountain...
"Sit down Neji, I need to tell you something", he said while sitting down."Yes uncle?", I asked,"You have no choice about this, but in the future you need to marry a girl that I will pick", he said."W-What!", I screamed as I stood up fast,"But I don't want to marry a girl", I said giving him a serious face."Im sorry but you don't have a choice", he said. I started to run and I heard him scream out my name, but I didn't turn back. I didn't know where to go, when I turned in a corner I bumped into someone.
Jasmine's POV
I was peacefully carrying my grocery bag, until someone bumped into me."Ow", I said putting my hand in my forehead. I opened my eyes and saw a boy,"I-Im so sorry", he said looking away embarrass of what he did."It's fine accidents always happen", I said starting to pick up my groceries,"Let me help", he said as he started to help me. I smile to him,"Thank you", I said. He looked at me and smiled,"No problem", he said as he hand me my bag.
"What's your name?", I asked,"Neji Hyuga, and you?", he asked,"Im Jasmine Tuski, nice to meet you", I said,"Nice to meet you too", he said."Well, I need to go home now", I said as I started walking,"Wait! Can I come with you?", he asked."Sure, but make sure not to bump into someone", I winked at him. I saw him blush a bit and I giggled,"Come on let's go", I said.
At the apartment...
I told him to sit down while I put my groceries away. When I finished, I went to go sit next to him,"Care to tell me why you were running, Neji?", I asked."Well my uncle said that I need to marry a random girl, he's going to pick", he said with a serious face. I put my hand on his shoulder,"Im sorry, I wish I could help you with your uncle", I said,"Its fine, I just wish I can make my own decisions in the future", he said."Maybe in the future I can help you find a girl and try to convince your uncle", I said smiling a bit." But soon or later when I grow up, I don't even want a girl", he said,"We'll see about that", I whispered to my self. He smiled at me and I smiled too,"Do you live alone, Jasmine?", he asked.
"Yea I do, because my parents got killed when the nine-tails incident happen", I said,"Im sorry about your parents, but don't you feel lonely sometimes?", he asked."No, because I have friends to hang out with, like right now because your a really good friend", I said. He looked surprised a second, but smiled,"You should go back Neji, your uncle can be worry about you", I said pulling him up,"Your right I should go back", he said. He gave me a hug and I blushed a bit, but I hugged him back. He let go off me and started heading to the door
"Hey Neji?", I asked,"Yeah?", he said,"I hope in the future you will actually find the girl you want to marry", I said. He smiled,"And I hope that girl will probably be you", he said as he left. I blushed in surprised,"Maybe that will happen", I said to myself.
