Welcome to a magical land called Aramoor. Aramoor is a magical place. There's dragons, unicorns, pegasi, and lots more. The people have games that are held every year. They're called The Dragon Games. You split into teams of 4-5 and battle for the ball, the goal is to shoot it into the hoops. That's what I want to do. But the thing is..... You need a dragon and dragons are really expensive.
"Hey, Aiden!" That's my best friend, his name is Caden.
"Hey, Caden!" I and Caden are both different from the rest of the people here. Every 5,000 years there are 6 kids who are chosen by the dragon lords. They will protect our world and will get the same elements as the dragon lords who chose them. I and my friend Caden are 16.
"Come on Aiden we have to hurry or we will miss the dragon race!" Caden says excitedly.
"Alright Alright, I'm coming jeez!" He's always so impatient. Once we got there they made an announcement.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls the 6 protectors will be chosen in 10 days, be ready!" That got everyone's attention.
"Hey, dude, what's your take on the 6 protectors?" Caden asks me.
"I personally think they're a story told kids to make them feel safe, I doubt it's actually real."
"I guess you're right." He said "I mean what's the chances it's real"
"Hey, guys!" This is my other friend Alex, he believes EVERYTHING!"
"I hope you do know it could be real, it could even be one of us," Alex said while he stares deeply at us.
"HAHAHA good one!' Caden says.
"Ya whats the chances of that," I told Alex that, but that's when I didn't know what I know now. After the dragon race, we started walking home, we all are orphans so we stay together at the orphanage. The next day passed by and we decided to go get some ice cream. Then the news came on. It was talking about how all these natural disasters were happening out of nowhere. It said there was a tsunami, a volcano eruption, a HUGE thunderstorm, and more. Now, this was confusing since there's barely any natural disasters here.
"Hey guys what is the deal with that?" Caden said "It's probably nothing." That's what I thought anyway.
