First of all I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a long time but I was waiting for the book to get some reads... Here is the second part...

Hannah's POV

I woke up to the sound of loud thuds and at first I don't know where I am. I look down and see the horse running full speed across the pasture, "Whoa there boy" I laugh as he slams on the brakes and looks up at me with alarmed eyes. I slowly and carefully climbed down the tree and to the ground, once I reached the ground, I sat down on a log and watched as he grazed peacefully. I could already tell that I wanted to keep the horse but where would I get a bridle or tack or anything else? I decided to walk towards him and try to pet him. he immediately snorted and trotted away. By lunch time, I was starving, I got my bag and grabbed the first thing that my hand touched, which happened to be canned carrots. I poured a small pile on a plate and put the rest on a pan that I brought. I started a fire and cooked the carrots but left the ones on the plate for Cherokee, that's what I decided to name him. I slowly approached him and held the plate out for him, he gratefully gobbled down the carrots and nuzzled me for more. I was beyond excited that he willingly touched me, I held my hand out and waited for him to make the first move. sure enough, he gently shoved his muzzle into my palm and I stroked his beautiful face for a long while and then I moved on to petting his neck. I knew that this was the start to a strong friendship with Cherokee.

I will try to update every time that the book gets 2 reads or more.

Thanks for reading the first part of the book and I hope you like this part. Vote, comment, and add to your library please😘
