Aftet Sid dropped me home, I went straight to my room wondering what. Just. Happened.!!!! He. Proposed. To. ME!!!! But whyyyyy... God my life is not less than a drama.
After sucking my brain in that topic for too long I decided to take advice of my 2 fav people... Ruchita and Sajida.
"Hey girls.. I need urgent help!!" I shrieked into the phone. Don't mind it, it's just our way of talking. "Ok ok calm down dude and tell us what happened..!??" Sajida said calmly. "Yes dude, I'm curious now what happened to you now.. What did YOU do now!!" She said exasperated. "HEYYYY! It's not ALWAYS me doing something." I said sulkily. "Yaa yaa whatever but now spill what happened to you to pull you into the bowl of confusion and anxiety" Ruchita said.
"Welll...." I trailed. "Tell already or I'm cutting the call NOW!!" Sajida and Ruchita said together.. Weirdos!!
"Ok ok, so here goes.. Siddharth proposed me on our way home!" I said quickly. "WHATTTT THIS LATE!!!!!" " Called it before" Sajida and Ruchita said simultaneously. "Wait. What do you mean 'you called it'??" I asked Ruchita. "Dude are you seriously blind or something.!!! That guy has liked you since the first day. We could clearly tell. Right Sajida?" She said. "Yeah but I'm shocked cause I thought he would propose sooner cause he obviously liked you very much!" Sajida answered.
"Wow what bffs I have. And you guys couldn't even mention it just once to me!??" I asked them quiet upset for no reason. "Ok. But leave it for now and tell us the whole thing from the beginning!" Sajida said before I could say anything else.
After I told them everything, they were silent for a few minutes then together both of them squealed so loud that I had to pull my phone away from my ears.
"Eesshhhh. God quiet down stupids." I scolded them. "O.M.G. your life is so amazing... Uffff he is so sweet and those 'even and blah blah blah' how come I never get these kind of guys. Girl you're so lucky!!" They began squealing again. I swear someday I'm gonna block them.... Kidding I can never block them..ever. I don't wanna die young!
I quietly listened to them as they continued talking to each other about MY life and HIS proposal. I eye rolled. Once they came out of their inner girly modes and noticed my silence they asked what will I reply to him. "Honestly! I don't know. I don't know what to do that is why I called you about.." I said pausing and checking my watch and continued "half an hour ago" I rolled my eyes. "I told him I needed time to think. Cause after Ratik I don't even know why any guy would actually like ME!!" I told them.
After another hour of intense and thoughtful session, we kept out phones and I did my homework and went to sleep. God!!! I was exhausted. So many things have happened in just so little time
