Ben passed a nervous smile, sitting beside Ishita.

"Hi" he whispered, mentally slapping himself as it sounded more like a squeak.

"Don't, pls" Ishita pleaded.

"What did I do, Ish?" Ben whined keeping his head on her shoulder.

"Nothing" she replied. Ben was about to smile thinking maybe everything is good.

When he heard Ishita muttering "Why didn't you?" Ben didn't miss hurt on her voice.

"Cara, met me after school, k?" Ben asked Ishita as began packing her belonginess

"I can't. I have assingements" she replied without meeting his eyes.

"We have same classes, Ish. Atleast say you don't want to talk." Ben said in shaky voice.

"Conference hall?" She asked softly, finally giving up.

"Okay." Ben replied without trying to hide his grin.

After completing his task, Ben moved toward conference hall. He loved these type of tasks on last period. As fast as you finish them, you can leave.

He was more into solvinv the unknown problem that focusing on the path, he bumped on someone.

He was all prepared to get some curse thrown at him if not hits, he felt two stong arms on his waist.

"Hey, love." Xavier said joining their forehead. But Ben didn't reply and didn't even hug him back.

"Whats wrong?" Xavier held his chin up, making eye contact "Did someone say anything?"

Ben shook his head, still not ready to say anything.

"Then, why is my baby so sad?" He tried again.

"Ish-Ishita isnot talking with me" he replied.

"So?" Xaier teased only to get a smack in return.

"Ok, my bad." Caressing Ben's left cheek softly "Take care of my baby, k?" peaking his lips softly.

Ben nodded blushing and slightly pushed him, moving toward the hall.

"Ish?" Ishita heard Ben calling her. She was nervously playing with her bag's strap.

"You wanted to talk?" She asked trying to get over with this fast. She was aware of the akwardness followed by her formality but it was too much for her.

"Did I do sth?" he asked trying to know the reason. He has only one friend, he couldn't affort to lose her too.

"No, you didn't." She said wiping her eyes with her fists "You did nothing. Why didn't you?" cruling to herself.

Just remembering about the darkness, those scary wolves, she could feel shiver on her body.

"I-I ..." Ben tried to say but couldn't say anything.
