chapter one
Bright sunshine, gentle bedsheets, and closed curtains that caused the sunlight to ease itself into the room. Even then, the cold weather feared to ruin such a peaceful environment. What was better was that Kim Y/N had it all to herself, without a loud, party-going roommate to disturb her.
Tweet, tweet, tweet.
Until the birds were awake. Of course they had to be awake, they had to awaken others, too, and begin the day. But did they really want to wake up Y/N? Half-asleep with her hair a knotted mess, accompanied with cowlicks, and her pajamas crinkled in multiple places, it wasn't exactly the most photogenic sight to see.
Yes, yes they did.
Groaning and turning on her side, Y/N grabbed her phone to check the time with her right hand as she rubbed her left eye with her left hand -- which, mind you, was beginning to go numb. Had the world ever been so exposed to the sun so much, or did the clouds just hate her? She needed to know the time of day it was.
Nine forty-five in the morning. That's much too early for a Sunday. . . wait.
Shrieking and shooting to stand up, Y/N hurried to the mirror and slapped herself in the face to wake herself up. She definitely looked haggard and homeless, but all that went through her mind was that it was not indeed Sunday; it was Monday, and she was going to be late if she fell asleep again.
