It is a world of extreme odds, where East is ice and snow, West is barren sand deserts, North and South is rainforest, and the centre is somewhere in between.
East is heavily populated with snow-people, who have adapted to survive these icy conditions (some people theorise that they are descended from Nendorth children who were shipwrecked),
West has almost no people, and those who do live there are very primitave and more akin to the monsters that dwell there.
North and South have possibly the most diverse religions and culture, with every second tree and stone sacred. However, there is much left to be desired in the people's mannerisms. They are rude and near barbaric.
And in the centre of it all is Nendar. The most predominant race is the Nendorth Skin-Changers, who shift as children to any race around them. The Nedorths are possibly the most civilised peoples one will ever meet, with wonderful manners and interesting cultural aspects. They are also the most advanced; many others come to Nendar for philosophical and medical teaching, and graduated pupils are said to be the greatest thinkers in the world.
Such a shame they did what they did to the the second-in-line of the throne...
