"I understand I might be making you uncomfortable with the amount of questions, but last question... How long had she had depression?" Remy was walking backwards, but turned forwards intime to open the glass door of Starbucks. Virgil sighed and followed through the door with Roman behind.
"I don't know... I found out when she couldn't get out of bed one day that I had to call the hospital..."
Remy's eyes flew open at the words, taking in all the answers and imagining if he was in the position of the new 'friend?'. Roman sighed and looked at his brother."I've never heard you talk so much... go find a seat and Virgil and I will order drinks." He nodded and walked off with his lips sealed shut as if with glue as Virgil turned to Roman with a huff.
"I know he's just curious, but that was too much... thanks for saving me...""Anything..."
"Oliver Twist?"
"Always." Virgil faceplamed at the Harry Potter reference and walked towards the till, Roman giggling behind. The wait was short, but every second felt like a lifetime as Virgil felt Roman's hot breath on his neck and arms dropped loosely around his waist. As the man ahead started ordering, Virgil lent his head back to make sure Roman could hear his whispering voice."If you don't let go, please will start thinking we're a couple."
"But you're so warm~" Roman smiled and tightened his grip, feeling the thin figure of the short boy, but not mentioning it until he knew it was necessary.
"Whether we just met or dead mother, I'm not ready for a relationship... I'm not even sure why I'm letting you in quicker than anyone else...""It's cause you trust me, I get that a lot~"
"I'm starting to realize how narcissistic you are..."
"Don't call it that, call it... confident.""Acually I would also call you narcissistic as you do tend to watch yourself in every mirror." Virgil jumped at the sudden voice, causing Roman to step back with shock before groaning and turning to the person Virgil was looking at with a raised eyebrow.
"Sup, Calculator-watch." Logan looked at Roman with a glare before turning his head towards the now calm -still slightly panicked- ray of gloom.
"Apologies for frightening you, I had no intentions of causing you panic.""I-it's cool, nerd..." He answered, shoving his hands into his pockets. Roman sighed yet again and pulled Virgil against his chest, arms still around the petite boy's waist.
"Are your two...?"Dating? No, Roman can't take a hint..."
"Excuse me... I can, you just need to know I'm here..." Logan looked at two questionably as Virgil mouthed back 'don't question it' . "Is Patton with ya?""Well yes of course, the little bundle of joy is with your brother plotting who knows what..." Logan rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small smile that plastered on his soft lips. Roman smirked, slanting his head towards Virgil to get closer to his ear.
"Logan and Patton are dating, leaving me to be a third-wheel.""I'm surprised your not in a relationship. What happened to that girl I saw you with three or four month ago?"
"See, you do notice me. Chloe didn't like the fact I'm bisexual, and I think she knew my secret~" Before Virgil could question, the cashier called out, causing Virgil to yet again jump and Roman to let go. The way his body felt, tingling and cold, after Roman let go makes him wonder how long he must have been touched-starved for. Weeks? Months? He stumbled towards the till with Roman towering over him, his hand above the hem of his hoodie : not to low to his ass, but lower in the arch of his back.
"Could we get a seasonal depression..." Roman lowered his head to Virgil with a hushed voice "What do you want?"
"Latté, please?" Roman smiled and look back at the women with a smile.
"And two lattés please?" She nodded with a smile and turned to her notes.
