Calling My End

Clarissa's POV

Kuya Jay started the car as soon as the three of us entered the car. All three of us were quiet until we reached the mall.

"Ok our princess we are here. Are you excited to buy your stuff for school?" Kuya Hans asked me just like a really older brother.

"Of course Kuya! As if I haven't bought my stuff on my own in the states eh?" I sarcastically joked at him, and I could see his face turned sad which also made me sad.

"But of course! It won't be the same because you guys are here to shop with me right?" Mabilis kong sabi and his face lit up a bit.

"Kuya naman eh! I was just joking ok? I just missed joking with you, and also you Kuya Jay! Hali nga kayo dito let me hug like there is no tomorrow!" Sabi ko at lumapit rin silang dalawa and hugged me tight.

I'm about to cry but I hold it inside of me because I don't want them to see me weak. I want them to see me as a strong person now and that is what I've been keeping in mind. I should be strong and I should hold on until I can.

It's sad to think of it but that's the saddest truth. I may not be ready to let go yet and leave them but I have to for their sake also. I can feel a slight pang from my heart while having those thoughts. 

"Hey lil sis! Your spacing out. Is there something wrong?" I came back to my senses after Kuya Jay shaked my shoulders a lil bit. I gave both of my loving Kuyas a very warm smile so they won't be bothered and also to lighten up the mood.

"Yes indeed Kuya i'm fine. I just missed the both of you and the three of us being this close again." I said as we walked inside the entrance. They both led me in the National Bookstore and got me a basket for my supplies.

"I'll be right back. Hans you take good care of our princess ok?" he said and winked at Kuya Hans and that serves as a signal for the both of them.

"Hey! Bakit si Kuya Hans lang yung may wink at ako wala? And daya naman!" i said na parang nagtatampo. They both laughed and winked at me together.

"Hahaha there is your wink baby princess. Pwede na bang maka alis si Kuya para maka balik agad ako dito?" Kuya Jay said, and i just nodded. Parang na sense pa ata nila na nagtatampo pa din ako.

"Hey, calm down na baby sis. Wala lang naman yun eh. Halika na at sasamahan na kitang bumili ng things mo." Kuya Hans said as I pulled the cart to look around.

"Gusto mo bang ikaw ang pumili ng things ko for school?" he suggested and that made my face lit up and gave an idea.

"Sure! But do you really want me to choose your things?" i asked one more time and you could see from his face that he is a bit scared of the outcome. He gave me a big smile and nodded.

"Oo naman syempre. Just to make my princess happy." he said and he insisted na siya na lang daw yung magdala ng cart.

We started roaming around at nilalagay ko lang sa cart ang lahat ng nagugustuhan ko. Napakamot naman ng ulo si Kuya Hans if only i could laugh at him but hindi pwede kasi im still pretending. Saka na lang pag tapos na ako.

I looked at the cart, books, notebooks and pens and other stuff for anything. It's done!

"Kuya im done. Lets pay na para mahanap natin si Kuya Jay." i said and Kuya Hans just nodded and pulled the cart to the cashier. He paid using his card and its all set. Siya na rin yung nag dala ng mga gamit namin.

"Hey sis are you sure na para sa ating dalawa ito?" Kuya Hans asked as if hes unsure of what I picked. Hahahahaha! Well you want to know what i bought for him? Its plainly teddy bears and some of barbie stuffs. I know its childish but hayaan nyo na ako, ngayon ko lang ito magawa kay kuya.

"Are you doubting my likings Kuya? You dont like it?" I asked with teary eyes. Dinayuhan nya ako right away to comfort me.

"Hey little princess calm down. No, nagustuhan ni kuya yung binili mo ok? And I want to say thank you for all of these things." he said and kissed the top of my head. I know some people are looking at us now. Some are weird and some are in awe. Well sorry sila wala silang mga Kuya na meron ako. Pero joke lang.

"Hey anong ginawa mo kay princess?" biglaang sulpot ni Kuya Jay, kuya hans said nothing while i transferred to kuya jay.

"Hey princess, it's ok. Dont be sad already kuya bought something for you." he said and that's when I noticed the bag he's holding.

"You will be opening this later princess. Sa ngayon kumain muna tayo kasi ang sabi ko kay mama dito na tayo kakain." sabi ni Kuya Jay so i just nodded my head,  sabi nya eh. We went to the food court at humanap nang mauupuan when we found one then let me stayed on the seat at sila na daw bahala sa pag order nang food.

Are you guys wondering bakit parang ang arte ko ko lang maglambing kela kuya kahit 19 na ako? Its because i missed them so much that i know i cannot do this again next time. Kaya wag na kayo mag taka. Ok?

While waiting for my Kuyas to arrive I saw one of my very close friends that happened to become a very special person to me. He was approaching my table, maybe he is also finding one.

"Hey! How's it going? It's been a while right?" I asked as I waved at him. He seemed surprised to see me.

"Oh hey! Clari, i didn't know your back." he said in an awkward tone which made me wonder why.

"Yeah, I just got back a few days ago, how have you been doing?" i asked him

"I've been so good. So how was states while you were there?" he asked and smiled a little bit that seemed off for me. His eyes were roaming around just like he is looking for someone.

"States have been good to me. But of course the Philippines is my home so I really came back." I said and I saw my kuyas coming here with trays on their hands.

"Well it's nice seeing you around again Clari, I gotta go." he said and disappeared right away.

I can see confused looks on my kuyas faces, of course asking who I was talking to a while ago.

"We ordered our favorite meal princess!" Kuya Hans said and I was excited of course. We haven't been together for 5 years even though they visit me in states yearly and i'll surely miss them again.

"Looks delicious kuya. Let's eat!" I said and we started filling our mouths with food and enjoying every moment with them.
