That night instead of going home I went out on a walk. I walked all over the city. I went through some shops and walked around. Until A fresh scent suddenly overwhelmed my senses, almost like it was beckoning me to find it. I followed the smell, falling into a trance I followed the scent for about two blocks before realizing what was happening and as I stopped I felt something wrap itself around both of my arms and legs and around my throat, all of my senses were suddenly corrupted even more by what I recognized as a mixture of Lilies, Poppies, Dandelions, and Roses. The vines wrapped up my entire body from the tips of my fingers to the tips of my toes. It was suffocating me and cutting off my circulation and thorns, from the what I assumed was what was causing the rose scent, stabbing into me . I couldn't think straight when I remembered, 'doesn't frost kill plants?' I took a shot at it and tensed my muscles before relaxing my entire body so it would seem like I passed out. And the thing started to release me, I was barely conscious as I closed my hands and hoped and prayed my idea would work. I had ice being released from both of my hands and the plant began to die but now I had a bigger problem. It was frozen around me, the thorns still digging into me.
"Danggit" I managed to get out. "Someone help me!" I yelled as loud as I could with thorns pressed to my throat. I wasn't going to try to melt it because I'd prefer not to have third degree burns. Someone turned the corner onto the street "help me" I mumbled and slipped out of consciousness.
I woke up and looked at the sky and realized I wasn't wrapped in plants anymore. I tried to talk but I couldn't, I lifted my arm up and realized it was wrapped in bandages. When I looked back at the 'sky' I realized it was more just a blue ceiling. I sat up and I looked around. Seeing someone I didn't think I'd ever see.
"Bakugo?" I mumbled out my throat hurting as I moved my jaw.
The boy jerked his head toward where I was. I was right. He turned his head back to what he was doing before speaking at all.
"You can go back home, or you can stay here. My parents don't care. Your uniform was ripped though so my mom is sowing it right now." he said quietly. I looked down and realized I wasn't wearing it but I was wearing a knee length sleeping shirt. "Don't worry either. I'm not the one who changed your clothes. My mom was." he stood up stuffing his hands in his pockets
I couldn't really talk so I just nodded.
"If your gonna stay you can lay back down. Just sleep against the wall please. I have to sleep in my bed too." he said I nodded and scooted over to the wall but instead of laying back down I just watched him. He turned back around and went back to whatever he was doing. His messy blonde hair moving with his head as his body moved. His body language didn't signal to me that he was upset or annoyed really. It confused me.
I laid down and watched him still. He would turn around every once in a while, I guess to see if I was still awake, "So are you just gonna watch me?" he asked after about an hour. I shrugged. "Okay then. Can you close your eyes or turn around or something so I can change?" I obliged and closed my eyes and covered them with my hand after about a minute I felt him sit on the bed, I opened my eyes and saw a shirtless Bakugo looking at me.
"Goodnight, miss priss." he stated simply before flicking off the light and putting us in complete darkness. I laid down and curled into a tight ball before closing my eyes and going to sleep.
Then next morning I woke up and crawled to the end of the bed and just sat there until the door was opened and a woman, who I presume was his mom, looked in and said "Katsuki, get ready for school" she turned her head and looked at me. "Miss Lenree- Midoriya your awake, come with me I'll give you your uniform." she said in a quite loud voice but kindly enough that I followed her.
I managed to say "How did you know I was a Midoriya?" which surprised the woman.
"Don't strain your voice dear, but you used to go to school with Katsuki before your quirks came in. Remember?" she asked
I nodded slightly, how could I forget. Me and my brother were 'friends' with him before Izuku was told he wasn't going to get a quirk. He hasn't really changed much from then and then after I got my quirk I transferred schools. "Does Kaachan know its me?" I asked quietly referring to what me and my brother used to call him.
"Well of course he does, he's the one that told me" she said as she handed me my uniform. "You can change in the bathroom dear" I did as I was told and went and changed Into my uniform. When I walked out of the bathroom and into the main part of the house I saw Bakugo.
" Well we should go or we're going to be late." he said "goodbye mom" he said and began walking I followed slightly behind.
"Kaachan?" I said to get his attention as we got close to the school.
He looked at me and raised his eyebrows. "How did you know it was me?""How did I know it was you what?" he said confused.
"How did you know I was a Midoriya?" I asked
He shrugged. "You haven't changed much. But your not a Midoriya. Your a Lenree. That's what I remembered" he said
"So you remembered the fact that I was a murdered pro heroes daughter?" I asked
He nodded "if you want to think of it that way." he spoke " Then yes"
We then reached the school and I turned to him. "Okay well I'll see you in class. Bye." I said running off, you could say I was hurt but even I wasn't sure about that at this point.
Bakugo Katsuki remembered me.
