Oh My Axel!

Prologue~

◇Axel's Pov

"Who's there?" I shouted with purpose and clear diction.

I could sense someone or something was on the other side.

Was I going to die?

Hell Naw, I shouldn't even be  awake at this time. 

This was clearly the case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Erm..seriously?
It's my own house." I sighed.

Glancing at my watch, it was 3.33 am.

I could feel the pull. A funny feeling awoke within me.

"Could it be... could it be...could it be... my Mate?"

"NANI! Otoke!"
  I blushed,eyes wide open.

"Merlin's beard, am I in some  Omegaverse or something." I wondered, being somewhat adept in this supernatural world after having read countless of books on Wattpad.

"Was I living a lie, all this while? Last I checked, I couldn't shift into an animal, need blood to survive or read minds," I frowned.

Either I'm getting a hot set of twins or my mate's a school bully,  or a girl with overprotective brothers or a same-gender mate or something along that line. It's always that.

Told yeh, I'm educated.

"But....I'm not ready to commit to someone for a  lifetime!" I gasped.

"What if I get rejected?" I gasped again.

Will I have to runaway and come back here a few years later due to my Mate begging to take me back?

Why was I always the one getting hurt when I have never hurt anyone intentionally. It's always the pretty ones  getting hurt.

"It's still not too late to turn back,Axel! Just a few more steps to the kitchen," I whispered to myself.

As I stepped back, I heard a knock followed by a door bell.

The sole reason for me being awake  was to find food and I'll stop at nothing to fulfil that.

I repeat. I don't just stay awake for anybody.

I was indeed the embodiment of the idiom; curiosity kills the cat as I wondered who was at the door.

Why did I have to go hungry now. Just why. For heaven's sake, I have school in 4 hours time.

Funny how even in the verge of my assumed death, food has never fail to comfort me.

"C'mon, Axel..La La La..Big boys don't cry.." I tried to convince myself.

My eyes kept glancing everywhere as I heard another knock  on the door. I felt like I was a deer being preyed on  by a lioness on Animal planet.

If only..if only, I had night vision. With my mere mortal eyes, I could barely see  anything through the side window facing my front porch, let alone my feet in this pitch dark.

As I walked forward,

"I'm not afraid of you."

"Either you state your purpose for being here or I shall make you,"

I shouted.

Deep inside, I was contemplating to either scream or play dead or get back to my room to change into something decent.

What if it was really my Mate.
The pull is getting stronger!

I CAN SMELL IT!..

Wouldn't want to appear a mess, right?

I have manners.

The complete silence was soon replaced with laughter.

"Hellllooo, this isn't funny!"

"I swear to God if this is a joke, I'm going to go full blown hulk mode."

"Be very afraid!"

With the Power of the Sun, the moon, the stars, the lamp post, the fire from the bbq pit in the backyard, my refrigerator's light, the bathroom light, any light source I can  think of , I command you to reveal yourself!" I chanted, whipping out my phone ,switching on my phone's flashlight , setting the brightness to maximum while closing my eyes and pulling my door open.

" WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! HUuuhhh"

"C'MON! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! HUuuuhh"

I shouted as I twirled.

The strong wonderful aroma invaded my sense of smell.

This is it.

Upon peeking, I was dead right.

A scene like no other but instead of me being the deer,they were the ones serving the deer caught on headlight look....
