Lily's POV

It's our 7th year! finally, but at the same time I'm super upset. I'm gonna miss Hogwarts, coming here every year. I've made so many friends and made so many memories. Except 5th year, I lost Severus. it's his fault though for calling me that word. mudblood. Then there's James Potter....

James' POV

7th year! this year I have to make lily mine or I'll never have her. I'm in love with her. I can't let her go. I can't wait to find out who head girl is, I hope it's lily since we have our own common room. "PRONGS" I hear Sirius yell. "Hey bud" "Excited for 7th year? I'm hoping to get Sarah to date me." Padfoot says. he's had a crush on Lily's friend Sarah Myers for the longest time, but she always rejects him and it's pretty funny expect he always gets upset but then gets over it quickly. "And i will get my Lilyflower I say in a matter-of-fact tone. "Hey guys" I hear Remus say. "Hey Moony how was your summer?" I ask. "Oh great, mum and dad were happy to see me. Yours?" "Awesome, Sirius ran from home and came and lived with us the rest of the summer. Quite a handful we are." I say laughing. "Oh no. why did you run Sirius?" "Let's get on the train and I'll explain" Sirius says. we all load up our trunks and go find a compartment.

Severus' POV

I stand there and watch Lily catching up with her friends. she looks so perfect standing there. she's just so beautiful, I can't believe I messed up. I see her look and me- no glare at me. her friends Alice, Sarah, and Amy follow suit. I look away quickly and start thinking. How did I call her a mudblood twice? First in 5th year she was trying to defend me, then again in 6th year.

*FLASHBACK 6TH YEAR*

I was walking down the halls when I see Lily on her own. I run up to her and try to talk to her. "Lily look I'm still so sor-" "Save it Snape. I don't want to hear your lies anymore" Sure it wasn't the first time she called me snape instead of sev or Severus but I won't pretend it didn't still hurt. "whatever I didn't mean it when I called you that" "Oh really? you didn't mean it did u?" she asks all sassy. "I guess mudbloods just don't like to take apologies do they? huh mudblood?" I say before I even think of what I'm saying. I instantly regret it. I see tears well up in her eyes and she yells at me "SEE YOU MEAN IT EVERYTIME YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING SCUM" she starts to walk away before turning around "Never talk to me again." she turns and I hear her crying but trying to stay quiet. I walk away and the last thing is hear is that arrogant Potter asking if she's alright. I turn around and he's there HUGGING her. I can't believe this.
