"Hurry up Nova we're gonna be late!" My brother, Noah said from down the stairs.
"I'm coming, don't get your hair in a twist!" I yelled as I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen where my parents, older sister, and Noah were.
"Morning mom, morning dad." I say as I take a seat on the Island in the kitchen.
"Morning sweety, you want some breakfast before you head off to school?" My mom said.
"No thanks, I'll make Noah stop by starbucks." I reply, smiling at Noah.
"Oh no, we're already late for school." He said with a serious face on.
"Come on please, it'll be quick." I say making the puppy dog face.
"Noah, take you're sister where she wants to go." My dad said before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Fine, just get in the car."
"Oo, can you get me a carmel frape please!" Said my older sister, Carmen.
"No Carmen!" Noah and I said in unison.
We headed out the house and into Noah's car. We drove to starbucks and Noah got out, but I stayed behind in the car.
~Mini time skip~
About 10 minutes later Noah came back with 2 drinks and a boy? Not just any boy, a good looking boy. Noah and the guy came in the car and Noah handed me my drink which was a unicorn frappechino, my favorite drink.
"Noah, why did you bring a stranger into the car?" I asked eyeing the boy that was sitting behind Noah.
"The stranger is named Ace and he just moved in the house next to us and is going to the same school, so I decided to give him a lift." He answered back.
"Oh, well hey, I'm Nova and I'm the better and older twin." I say flipping my hair.
"No she's not, we were born at the same time." Noah said keeping his eyes on the road.
"Isn't it impossible for twins to be born at the same time?" Ace asked eyeing both Noah and I.
"Well, not for us." Noah said pulling into the schools parking lot.
"What do you mean?" Ace asked getting out of the car.
"We came out at the same time, like my hand and his foot came out together." I answered as we walk into the school and up to my friend.
"Hey Nova, hey Noah." My best friend, Q said hugging me.
"Hey Q." I say as I pull out of the hug.
"Who's the kid?" She asked.
"This is Ace, he's new." Noah answered.
"Hey beautiful." Ace said with a wink.
"Eww." I said in disgust.
"Is someone jealous?" Noah said nugging me.
"I am NOT jealous." I shot back.
"Hey, it's ok to be jealous ma." He said putting an arm around me.
"I'm not jealous and don't call me that." I say calmly taking his arm off me.
"Call you what, ma?"
"Yes, I don't like it."
"Well too bad I'm going to keep calling you that for as long as I live, ma." He said walking away as the bell rung for homeroom.
"Come on Nova, were going to be late for homeroom." Q said dragging me along.
"See you at lunch!" Noah yelled before I entered the classroom.
