"Promise?" I question my dad with puppy dog eyes.
"I promise, after you get home from girl scouts I'll bring my laptop over there and you can play Toontown. But you need to go home and get some sleep for school tomorrow," my father replies with a reassuring voice.
"But this game is so much fun! Can't I just stay here?" Toontown is a game made by Disney. You make your avatar and played pranks (gags) on Clogs, evil robots trying to take over Toontown, to knock them out and level up. It was a fun game and my mom had just introduced me to it, I would play it at home but I don't have internet.
"No, you don't have any clothes or your school stuff," my mother tells me as she waits for me at the door.
"Fine," I gave the laptop back to my dad and gave him a hug "I'll see you tomorrow," I say as I walk to the door.
"Love you!" my dad calls to me.
"Love you too! See you tomorrow! Bye." I blew him a kiss as I got into the car with my mom. Little did I know this is the last time I would see my father...alive.
