As I stared at his beautiful eyes shaded like gray and blue.
He had his head rested in my lap. I played in his hair.
Aaron: " Why did you move to Miami?"
Zaria: " It's a long story."
Aaron: " I wanna hear."
Zaria: " I just wanted a fresh start , and that would be here."
Aaron: " Oh , okay."
Zaria: " I just got out off a relationship which was awful , so I wanted a fresh start , so I came here."
Aaron: " Why didn't you tell me?"
Zaria:" Because it wasn't important."
Aaron: " It is to me , Zaria."
Zaria:" You're raising your voice at me."
Aaron:" I'm sorry."
Zaria: " I should go."
Aaron: " Zaria don't."
I took up my bag and shoes and went outside and I heard him open the door.
Aaron: " You're leaving wow."
Zaria: " Yess."
Aaron: " I shouldn't have but please stay."
Zaria: " I can't Aaron , it's not because of that. I have some things to do."
As I stroll down the hallway and made my way back to the apartment.
... I'm finally back home , my phone vibrates its Aaron.
Zaria: " Yes."
Aaron:" I don't know what I did to make you get upset and leave , I just. I'm sorry Zaria . I really am"
Zaria: " I said it was fine."
Aaron:" Okay , do you have plans after work? "
Zaria: " No , I thought you were going to Seattle for a week."
Aaron: " I am , I was just asking babe."
Zaria: " Okay. "
Aaron: " Listen I'll drop you at work tomorrow so I can say goodbye."
Zaria: " Yeah that's fine."
Aaron: " I love you okay."
I closed my eyes.
Zaria : " I love you too."
I hung up, as I sat in the couch I kept thinking if I was really ready for another relationship......... COMMITMENT! I admit I lied saying I loved him but I know guys like Aaron don't mean a thing when they say the three words every girl would love to hear. This is moving a bit too fast and I think I am falling for him.... HOLY SHIT!!! NOOOOOOOOO. I closed my eyes & took up my phone and called Chelsea. It went straight to voicemail.
Zaria: Hey Chelsea, I haven't heard from you in awhile, so I was just checking if you are okay. Please call me back when you get this.
I went straight to bed.
Next morning.....
I woke up early, made some coffee, had a bath got dressed and combed my hair for work. I heard a knock on the door, I went to get it. It was Aaron.
Aaron: Good Morning beautiful.
Zaria: Morning Mr.Thompson.
Aaron: Ready for work.
Zaria: Yeah.. I guess.
He held onto my hand and we walked downstairs. There were lights flashing, I hate the publicity.!!
He gripped my hand and we tried getting into the car. We entered and the driver gave us privacy. Aaron drew me to him and kissed me.
Aaron: " I'm sorry baby."
