They went into the black, large building within the fences that surrounded the area. There was sand outside, a lot of sand it was like a desert. The room was warm with brown, wooden tables all around.
Her father motioned her to sit at a table. As she settled her herself into the chair he began to speak. "Now this will be your home for a year," he said. "Why?" Autumn questioned. "This may be difficult to take in..." his words drifted away from her ears as she was ready for any surprise he had planned.
"Your 'mother' is not your mother, and I'm not your father." he spoke. Her breathing picked up. Her mind had splattered in her head from all of the thoughts in her head. "Your a special experiment," he answered he question. Autumn blacked-out, her head sank in the chair.
Eventually she awoke in a cell, examining her surrounds. Instead of bars there were walls with a door. 'Was she a prisoner' she thought over and over again. She remembered the conversation she had before she blacked-out. 'An experiment, what does he mean' she thought. "Is anyone there?" She asked after about half an hour or so.
A skinny man with barely any clothes to cover his body, looked into her eyes. His eyes pierced right through her heart. His eyes felt familiar, though she'd never seen him in her life.
She went to stand in front of the door to get a closer look at the man. As she stood his lips slowly curled into a smile. Suddenly he put his hand to the window, and as he did she did.
Tears rolled down his face, as his hand touched the glass. Though they never touched, it was very powerful. The man suddenly looked to the side in fright and ran away. Autumn was smart enough to know that she'd better lay down.
A handsome boy that looked the same age as her opened her door. She thought he was cute, but quickly shook that thought. "I dont know him well enough" she thought shortly after. She debated on whether she should pretend she was sleeping or not. "Hey, you awake yet?" He said in a soft tone. She rolled over and slowly nodded her head. Their eyes met and a spark popped in her stomach, butterflies. The skinny man popped in her head again. "I hope he's all right," she thought.
The man picked her up without warning. "What are you doing," she asked scared of his answer. "Shut up," he demanded. I knew it was too soon to fall in love. The man threw her in a room, on a cold table. As the man left him and her father traded places. Her 'father' had a gun in his tense, strong arm. "I'm sorry," he said with little to no expression on his face pointing the gun toward her head. "Im smart enough to know whats going to happen next, so im just going to say this, I love you daddy," she said with tears sprinkling down her face. Pulling the trigger, Autumn had been killed by her father. Her own flesh and blood. "I'm sorry, but you were a failed experiment," he said that with the last fresh breath that would ever touch that room again.
