I woke up to my phone ringing.
"Hello?" I said getting up
"Hi, this is Doctor Ramsey and I just wanted to let you know that Amaria is doing okay and Is recovering faster than we expected."
"Oh wow that's great, i'm on my way now!" I said hanging up the phone. i walked in the bathroom and brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I put on a simple white t-shirt with some black tights and some black flip flops. I grabbed my phone, purse and keys and left.
I made it to the hospital so quick, I'm surprised I didn't get a ticket by the way I was driving.
Walking into the hospital I was immediately greeted with the same social worker from last night.
"Hello are you the parent of Amaria Alsina?" She Asked
"Yes" I said kinda nervous to what she was gonna say next.
"Were you around when this happened? What exactly happened that night ?" she asked taking her glasses off.
" No ma'am I wasn't even aware until they got to the hospital, She was with her dad for the weekend and from what the doctor said she cho-" I said out as I began to feel my throat close up. Tears streamed down my face as I imagined what my baby was going through. Who in their right fucking mind would give a fucking baby some weed. Lord knows when I get my hands on Renee I might fuck around and kill the bitch.
The lady's face showed sympathy as she rubbed my back.
"Would you like the go see her?" she asked me
"Y-Yes please" I said wiping my tears. it hurt me deeply knowing let that bitch do that to my child. I'd be a damn fool if I let that bitch get away with what she did.
walking into the room my baby was smiling so big which made me feel so much better. She even looked better than she did yesterday which I thank the lord for.
"Hi baby" I cooed smothering her with kisses.
"Uhm ma'am do you think someone did this to her ?" the social worker asked me.
"Uhm no, maybe it was an accident " I said
"Oh okay, well im gonna have a meeting with uhh August Alsina now so if you'd excuse me" she said quietly walking out.
I played with my baby for a while and sat down in the chair feeling tired and closed my catching a few z's.

I woke up checking my phone seeing it was 11;30
I got up seeing Amaria sleeping, I snuck out the room without waking her up
"Hey, i'll be right back I think I've forgotten something at home" I said quickly coming up with my excuse to leave.
"Okay i'll look after her until you get back" she said. I nodded and proceeded to walk to my car. I quickly got in my car so my hair would get wet from the pouring rain.
I drove over to august house to ask him about the little meeting. I got out my car and knocked on the door.

"Hey old friend, what you doing here " she said smirking.
