Chapter 2

Taking a deep breath, I slowly turn his doorknob and take a step inside.Surprisingly, he didn't notice this so I cleared my throat. This made him look up, and his furrowed brows disappear.

Although Commander Erwin seemed like a tough emotionless man, he always had a soft spot for me.Smiling, he got up out of his desk and extended his arms.I gladly accepted the hug knowing how much I missed him.

Even though Erwin took care of me as his own, I didn't see him as often as I liked.But he somehow manages to take the time to drop by and ask how I'm doing.

"Kate! Your finally here." He said with his usual monotone voice but I could manage to hear the relief and excitement in his tone.Nodding, I release the Commander and take a seat."So how's it going? "I ask trying to make small talk.He just chuckled and said fine.

"Kate" he said turning slightly serious. "You will be staying in the East hall.I have ordered some cadets to get you and show you where."This made you feel the slightest bit uneasy because you weren't always fond of new people.

You weren't able to get too far into your thoughts because you were pulled out of them by someone tapping you.You jumped but quickly settled not wanting to seem weird.But the mysterious boy just smiled at you and stuck out his hand."I am Eren Jaegër" he said, a smile still on his face.

He also pointed to some others.He introduced them as Mikasa and Armin.Mikasa was looking intensely at Eren so you didn't say Hi because she looked busy.But you did say hi to Armin and to be honest Armin mayyybbee gave you the slightest of butterflies.The way his hair looked from the cold weather outside, the way his bright blue eyes shimmered in the light wow he's perfect. No Kate stop thinking like that you just met the guy ! You shake your head and turns to say goodnight to Erwin.

After you did Eren blabbed about where everything was.But you kinda already knew because HQ was like a foreign second home to you.Foreign because you rarely went but somehow remembered where everything was, and it was oddly comfortable for you when you were there.

Eren showed you your dorm.Turns out his was on the left and Armins on the right.You smiled at the fact that you were close to the both of them.Knowing you were gonna be good friends, they gave you a type of comfort. Bidding them goodnight, you step inside the medium sized room.

After completing your nighttime ritual that consisted of showering, hair brushing, and brushing you teeth.You put on your pyjamas and slipped into the warmth of the comfortable bed.

You knew tomarrow would be a pain.Considering you had to interact with more people and start your training.With a long sigh, you decided that was enough thinking for tonight and slowly drifted off to sleep.
