I heard a gun click as we walked carefully into the alley. Harlow aimed to the rooftop and shot a sniper. As expected from a high-class agent. We arrived in the abandoned mansion and stopped in the middle of the main hall.
"Raven, Jakob, west wing. Chad, Jeremy, north wing. Maison, Harlow, east wing. I will inspect the basement." They nodded and we separated. While scanning the main hall, I noticed a dent on the floor, I prepared my daggers and guns and stepped on the dent, and soon fell down a huge hole.
Like a child on water slide, I continued falling until I reached for a rope and stabbed the wood with one of my best daggers. I switched my torch on. I'm probably 8 feet deep down the house already, but what really surprised me is a sea of blood.
Dog skulls and bones were all over the place. I moved my light to my left and saw an enormous message painted with animal blood.
BA. BO. YA.
And under the note was a bottle of absinthe. "Damn it!" And gunshots flooded the area.
"Cap, the Absinthe Spies invaded the area!"
I knew it. "ARGH!" I shouted and started climbing up to the hall. Jeremy reached out for my hand and helped me get out. "They fooled us! This is a total mess." I threw my flashlight out of madness. "They faked the evidences!" Raven said and we recieved a call.
"Idiots! F*cking idiots! How?! How the actual f*ck did they catch the drug lord?! Get here ASAP!"
Maison scoffed. "That's a Team Captain, I guess." I glared at Maison and he just smirked. "Cyanide, let's go." I walked and intentionally bumped Maison. They followed me to the van and Officer Jethro drove us to the station.
"I told you to be careful, Cap." Maison calmly said. "You are the worst so far. And I don't understand why you were assigned as Team Captain, you can't even conduct a simple task."
I clenched my fists and scoffed. "If you were good enough, why didn't you help me?" He grinned. "Because of your f*cked up pride. You're too proud of yourself being assigned as Cap, but you're just as dumb as Xander." I grabbed him by the collar and our other team mates stopped me.
"Maison, shut your mouth for at least one sec, please?!" Harlow angrily hissed and Maison laughed. "I'm just kidding, our captain is the best, isn't he?" He just made my blood boil even more. I know he's just mocking me.
A slap using a folded newspaper. Each one of us. At least in my vision. "Why, exactly, Jayven? Why did you fail in this task? One simple raid! One sh*tty raid! You weren't like this before!"
"Guess he needs to pump some oil in his brain, sir. Screws are getting loose." We all turned to Maison and chief nodded. "Detention, Lee. Seven lapses, 200 push ups, no breaks. Pantry service for two weeks, unless assigned for new mission. Janitorial service for two days." I nodded. "Go!" I exited and ran to the field.

"The rest, janitorial service for three days. Dismissed." The others made their way out of the office but I remained standing on my position. "You're being harsh on Jayven, chief. Shouldn't the punishments be fair? He's not the only one who failed in this mission. You listen to Maison too much. You're having favorites."
