Tegan's pov
I just turned 18 yesterday and since I was about 12 years old I said when I was 18 I wanted to live in Australia for a few years, well me and my best friend Abbie. That dream soon became a reality as we were doing final checks before getting into my dads car. I looked out the window as we drove to the airport and couldn't help but wonder what life would be like in Australia. We soon arrived at the airport and we quickly said our goodbyes and were on our way... down under!
*ON THE PLANE*
Abbie's pov
We were both so excited about moving to Australia however we hadn't slept the night before due to excitement therefore we slept the whole plane ride .... I was awoken by a lady talking about the weather and where to go inside the airport. I tried to listen but never really payed attention. Tegan woke up a few minutes later and just in time as the captain switch on the seatbelt sign and the plane started it's descent.
*IN THE AIRPORT*
Tegan's pov
We collected our luggage and made our way to a taxi. About 20 minutes later we pulled up infront of our new home. We both looked at each other and screamed in unison. The driver helped us in with our luggage. We just stood there glaring our new house which we had all to ourselves! we started to unpack.
Abbie's pov
I was so excited about moving here !! we unpacked our clothes and bedroom stuff then unpack the living room boxes, well while Tegan did I had a quick glance out the window and saw four teenage boys walking past I stared closer but focused on one I immediately started squealing to get tegans attention.
Tegan's pov
When I heard Abbie squeal I didn't know what to think so I ran over to the window and follow her stare.... I caught on and we both stood there like idiots with our mouths wide open... the boys looked over and waved. I slowly brought up my hand to wave back but they had already gone out of sight! "we have only been here like for an hour or so but I think I'm in love!" Abbie stated. " you're not in love, you think he's hot!" " same thing, anyway let's go look out our outfits for school tomorrow" Abbie said enthusiastically! we had got a place at penola... and tomorrow was first day so we had to make an impression! I chose to go casual however with an oversized penola hoodie, black leggings and gazelles. Abbie liked that idea and chose the same. I planned to wear my hair down and wavy with pretty light spring makeup.
Abbie's pov
It was such a long day and I'm so tired so we both threw on our pyjamas and curled up in bed after setting our alarms for school but I didn't fall asleep right away as I had others things on my mind ... That boy that passed the window earlier ...
