Chapter 1

I breathe deeply while packing my belongings, my best friend Emma will be here any second and sometimes it's hard to believe that I am continuing what my mom was trying to discover she went up to New Mexico trying to figure out the legend of the almighty Purkist . But she never returned It took a really bad toll on my family its been 2 years since shes been missing.

I get cut off from my thoughts when i hear my phone ring.

" hello" I speak.

" hey Im here ! are you ready for an adventure?"

" define ready haha" I laugh holding the phone to my ear while I carry my bags down.

" okay so whose all coming" I question trying to make sure i brought enough snacks for the road.

" okay, there's brad and his girlfriend Angela , Khalid, and Jameston." Emma answers my question.

" alrighty lets get this show on the road ill be out in a second." I say hanging up the phone.

I smile brightly carrying my bag to the back of the truck, sitting it carefully inside. Then suddenly im startled when a huge bag plumles on top of mine.

An instant frown appears on my face as i look to my right to see the one and only Khalid.

" you couldn't have put that huge sack of rocks inside the vehicle nicely" I cross my arms my whole persona clearly showing off that I was angry.

" of course not, now why would i do that when the other way is much easier." He exclaims twirling around walking towards the door of my house.

" where are you going!" I shout after him also following him into the house.

Meanwhile, Rose and Khalid are settling their differences, Jameston, Brad, and Angela pull up parking their car in the garage, grabbing their bags as well.

" Whats up, Whats up, Whats up! my clan of clans!" Dylan Shouts also throwing his bag in the trunk.

" Wheres Rose?" Jameston comments neatly putting in his bag on top of the others.

Emma hops out the car and wipes the sweat from her thighs.

" She's in the house grabbing the food with Khalid." she puts her sunglasses at the top of her head, to see him clearly.

" oh okay !" he says going to the end of the block to get a quick smoke in.

" I could have had it Khalid you didn't need to grab them for me I was fine!" suddenly Rose's voice is heard along with Khalid's as they made their way out of the house.

" I am just simply helping a lady out" He said shrugging his shoulders.

" Ugh!!" I growl in irritation because I am defeated by the one and only Khalid.
