What goes on in her head

KATE'S P.O.V. (2)

"You use to be important,

Ohhhh you use to be my lover ohhhhhhh ohhhhh ohhh!!!

I use to be in love yooo, you broke me in two pieces!

Ohhh baby just let me shower.."

* A knock at the door stopped her singing.*

Mom; I was singing why bug me while I am singing, I thought to myself. They, as in my family; always bugged me while I sang. Not because it's ugly or anything, they just hate how loud I blast the music and the fact that my voice still goes over the speakers. Sometimes I can not control what I feel inside, so I sing my heart out. Which makes them wonder if I am happy, or if I am sad.

In a high pitch mama yells,"Kate you really need to learn how to sing in your head!"

"Seriously ma? Am I that bad?" I joke back at her, than all of a sudden she bursts in to the door slamming it behind her! As I pulled the shower curtain away she told me to be quiet because Kyle was back.. BTW Kyle is my moms New Husband which is abusive ass hell!! No to me but to her..

"WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE HIM?!?" The blood inside me began to boil I hated that she had to protect herself so much and she woke up wondering everyday if this was her last day.. She never answered me when I asked her this, Kyle knocked on the door and called out to me asking if my mother was still home.  Once I'd lie and tell him no he would once again go downstairs and open the front door and jump on his motorcycle and speeded off. My mom gasped for air and held me tight.

"My little princess, she says, I am so sorry that this is the life we have to live.. If your father would of-"
I cut her off because she started with her dumb ass excuses of why my father got locked up and ran off on us! "Look.. Leave him out of this and stop bringing him up, you didn't have to leave him. Don't complain about our life when you choose it for us!"
She runs her hands through my hair and gives me a grin.. Only than I realized how old my mama was getting and how much pain she held within her dark soul.. Only than did I realize my mama did it all so she could support me and Gabe. Gabe is my older brother but obviously he left now that he got married and has kids, he is actually very successful and I admire his life! One day I will be like Gabe.

Once I got to school I felt like everyone was watching me for some awkward reason. Whatever I thought to myself, went to my locker unlocked it "30.07.30" I always had to him a tone so I would remember my combination! Once I opened my locker there was a bunch of bashing letters inside and I realized this must be the reason why they looking at me. I turned around trying to figure out why people were bashing me so early in the damn morning! Mike walked up to me slowly..
"Damn, Kate so you and Mr.Fisher getting it on lately?"
With a confused look I told him to explain what was he talking about.
"Didn't hear? Fisher got locked up for touching one of the girls and she said you have also been touched by him because since he only gives certain people detentions..."
My eyes widen and my eyes began watering..
